Taset the same. Some hops as well. Medium body and carbonation.
Soft even for a barley wine.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear amber with a small, rough off-white head. Sweet caramellish nose with a whiff of smoke. Rich, caramellish body, carbonation is a little low, some solid hops leading to a good bitter finish. Warming alcohol finish. 250313

Aroma is malts and a bit of hops. Like an pa. Colour is copper and white lasting head. Smooth taste. A bit of alcohol pushes through. Very light for a 9.4% bw.

Bottle at pikkulintu, helsinki. Mahogany brown clear color, small white head. Malty slight bitter aroma, rye bread, quite light. For barley wine taste is surprise. Medium body and malty taste, some bitterness, hint of alcohol. Reminds of american pale ale.

Aroma: floral, malty, vanilla, fruity.
Taste: malty, sweet, light earthy, candy, toffee, some vanilla, some Basset’s Allsorts.
Quite full-bodied.

Appearance: Clear deep copper color with a bubbly tan head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Malty and fruity(raisins).
Palate: Medium body. Sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation. Oily texture
Taste: Deep malty and fruity (raisin side). Well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Drinkable, but nothing I will recommend.
