The taste is sweet, mostly with only a hint of bitter that keeps the beer pleasant. Mouthfeel is crisop and clean, body is somewhat light for a barleywine and the finish is long.

Bottle at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. BBE Maj 2019. Colour is clear copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dark fruits, raisins, sweetness, bitterness and malts. Not very typical barley wine.

Clear copper color, tan head. Sweet, malty, dark fruits scent. Sweet, malty, sugary, dark fruits taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness.

Flaska från Systembolaget. Kopparfärgad vätska. Doft av malt med tydliga inslag av mörkt socker. Malt och sötma möts i smaken. Väl maskerad alkoholhalt. Medellång eftersmak.

Botella. Clear nice amber colour, small off-white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, dried fruits and hops with notes of cookies. Sweet toasty caramel malty aroma with some fruity hoppiness to it. Sweet toasty caramel malty fruity hoppy flavour, sweet finish.

Klar bärnstens färgad med minimal skum som snabbt försvinner totalt. Doft: Barr, regn vatten, äppel källare, plommon snapps. Dofterna för svaga för min smak. Smak: Blommor, barr, kakao, lakrits, kaffe. Bra smak, men åter igen för svagt.

Dry woody aroma. Brown, sticky bready head. Lovely smooth palate, not quite slimy, but so smooth. Carbonation a bit prickly. Beautifully aged, very mellow, nice woodiness balanced with soft sweetness and a little hint of bitterness. Very respectful to the English barleywine style - good one.
