Originally rated on 05.10.2012 - Pours dark orange with a foamy head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with notes of hops and grass. Taste is again quite malty with mild grassy notes. Finish is grassy and malty with notes of hops. Okay, quite malty oktoberfestbier

Bottle. Lovely mahogny color. Malty, burned sugar, true to type, some nic3e use of hops, too. To be consumed in huge glasses with a singalong - this fails to excite me.

gnoff (6320) - Mölndal, SWEDEN - OCT 4, 2012
50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. BB Feb 13, sampled on October 4, 2012
Clear copper to brown color, big lasting off-white to tan head. Malty, grainy, caramel, some weak fruity scent. Malty, caramel, fruity, a bit astringent taste. Bitter, astringent, herbal aftertaste. Medium to smooth, though also low co2, mouthfeel. Medium to medium high bitterness. Finishes fairly dry, though with hints of malt.

larsniclas (4999) - Billdal, SWEDEN - SEP 29, 2012
Bottled from Systembolaget Deep amber with a frothy head. Toffee, grass, wormwood and some medicine/solvent in the aroma. Very sweet flavour; brown sugar, molasses. Too sweet. Pretty light and late bitterness.

larsga (5326) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 28, 2012
Big tan head. Clear amber body. Strange meaty rubbery aroma with sugary caramelly notes. Dry-sweet smoky grainy roasty taste with rubbery notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish earthy smoky caramelly aftertaste with fruity notes. Strawy and grassy, too. It’s really close to being a great smoke beer, but fails in some way I can’t quite put my finger on. (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Nordstan, Göteborg.)

Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear amber, medium off-white head. Earthy, grainy and slightly nutty malt aroma, perfumy and piney hops. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Dry with a very atypical medium to high bitterness. Not very much oktoberfest going on here.
