COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottled. Fully golden and clear with a small disappearing white head. Rather malty aroma with some bread and Saaz hops. The flavour has a malt sweetness and a very good crisp hop bitterness. Excellent long bitter finish that lingers in your mouth for a while. Light to medium body, watery texture, average carbonation. Excellent flavour and palate, very flowery and grassy pilsner. Intersesting bottled stuff, surely underrated.

33cl bottle from systembolaget. Clear gold with a small collapsing head and a little lace. Faint apple aroma with some hops. Distinct smokeyness in the taste is a little odd, almost like smoked salmon. Medium bitter finish isnt giving me the best pilsner bite, and the hops seem a little faint. Light and crisp body. A little weird overall, maybe an off bottle from the look of things, but still drinkable.

Dark yellow colored, medium sized white head. Grassy-floral aroma with Saaz-hops, still this fruity sweetness nicely present, some perfumy notes come up also. Medium bodied. Flavor is more hopped than aroma, still start has this sweet fruitiness and some lemon. Aftertaste turns to bitterly hopped, nice carbonation also present. Some butter in aftertaste with Danish-influenced vegetably yeastiness.

(Bottled) Clear, paleish golden with a small, firm head with some lace. Lightly buttery-diacetylic aroma with some aromatic hops. Mild, grassy-hoppy flavor with some buttery maltiness. Medium-bodied with smooth carbonation. A drinkable, but quite uninteresting pils.

(Draught at MacKinlay’s, Stockholm, 10 Oct 2007) Golden yellow colour with huge, white head. Malty nose with hay and fresh notes of grassy hops. Malty taste with notes of hay, tropical fruit and fresh, grassy hops in a rather bitter finish. Very nice and refreshing pilsener.

Soonah (1120) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - SEP 19, 2007
Pour was a crystal clear gold color propping up a scant white head. Not much lacing. The aroma was malt, grass, roasted corn, light hints of floral. The flavor was a nice balance of sweet, roasted malt that transitioned nicely into a combination of light floral and spicy saaz hops. Mouthfeel was very nice and the finish was clean and succinct. A great session beer. Hope I get another chance to drink one of these again!

Biggish shiny white head. Clear yellow body. Light malty aroma with spicy grassy hop notes and a faintly rubbery metallic background. Dry and sweet smoky malty taste with resiny notes. Dry grassy metallic aftertaste. Kind of light. Very nice! (0.33l bottle from Systembolaget Stockholm.)

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity and grassy hops mainly. Flavour is grassyness, slight diacetyl and some hops. A very pleasant and refreshing pils, though it’s not that exciting.
