COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nils Oscar Sorachi Blond är kryddad med den japanska humlesorten Sorachi som ger en rik doft av citrus. Just humlen i denna brygd är odlad i USA.

Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Soapy coriander aroma. Mid sweet with buckwhea, marzipan and butter, medium body. Lightly grainy with herbal spices and marmelade. An interesting and elegant Belgo IPA.

Clear blonde body with a small white top. Nose is candy sugar, vanilla and hints of Belgian yeast. Taste is molasses and dry hops, with some metallic tones coming along mid-palate. Drinkable, but a bit simple makeup that certainly does not match the commercial description at all (for those who can read Swedish). A fair enough summer brew, but I’m honestly not very impressed.

Jonte (1413) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - JUL 24, 2010
Bottle. Dark golden colour with a white head. Sweet, fruity, lightly phenolic and lightly spicy. Smooth & easy drinking stuff. Almost a bit too clean for a belgian ale, but rather tasty anyhow.

pilsnerrogge (2489) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2010
Bottled:
Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, creamy head. Sweet, somewhat yeasty aroma with notes of citrus. Flavour is sweet and fruity with loads of zesty grapefruit; a little bit too much zesty grapefruit.

Aroma is earth and cellarish. Taste is very belgian and dry. Interesting hop character which leaves a dry, earthy and leathery tone to finish the beer of dry.

Bottle. Nils Oscar is not my favorite brewery, to be honest. I don’t like their characteristic vegtable/yeast/way too sweet maltiness profile that i find in their beers. This one also had a touch of alcohol that reminds me of a maltl liqour beer. Big bodied though.

Bottle. Pours dark caramell with a big beige head. Sweet taste of excessive amounts of caramell malts. There is also some citrus and spices, all togheter it tastes a bit like the swedish licour Punch.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has strong notes of spicy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spicy hops. Thanks joergen for sharing.
