Nils Oscar Sorachi Blond är kryddad med den japanska humlesorten Sorachi som ger en rik doft av citrus. Just humlen i denna brygd är odlad i USA.

(Draught@Pikkulintu) Ice-creamy, soft and peachy-fruity nose with evident brett notes. Flavor is pretty much the same with smooth fruit, brett, and some lagerish properties, too. Not very Belgian, but ok.

Draught @Pikkulintu. Poured slightly hazy orange color with a thin white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty, hard to put in words all the aromas. But really nice on the nose. Flavor is lemon, spices, yeast and hops. Bitter finish. Quite nice, very drinkable.

Bottle from Systembolaget. It poured a hazy golden liquid with a small white head. also had floating bits of yeast in the liquid. Sweet smell of candy and honey. Similar taste with some yeast. Smooth mouthfeel and low carbonation. Very sweet with lots of honey. The hops was probably gone by now, had the bottle stored for quite a while.

.5l glass from the tap at Glenfiddich Warehouse #68. This a deep gold pour but totally clear, interestingly so. Four fingers of tope head, lasting several minutes. Solid retention and lacing...The aroma is super sweet, way to sweet without being a fruit beer. Sweet is like high fructose corn syrup, hints of lemon, coriander and hops on the end. The taste is also way to sweet, cannot drink this very easily or quickly. Just get sweetness with a light hop finish. This was a servers recommendation and not a great one. Its way to sweet and just boring, nothing worth getting here.

Bottled. Pours out in a hazy dark golden colour with a dense off-white head. Seville oranges, lemons, crackers, vanilla, mild grassy hops and apricots and apricots. Medium-bodied with strong notes of bourbon, vaniila and coconut, almonds and apricots with undertones of orange-peels. Long medium-bitter finsih of almonds, apricots and wood. This one has a big barrel character without being barreled. Tasty but weird.

(Bottle) Pours golden with a small off-white head. Thai food notes up font in the aroma: lime, lemon grass, coconut milk and coriander alongside a bready and light toffee-ish malt foundation. Undertones of juniper, oak, vanilla ice cream, cotton candy and mint. Juicy hints of fruit salad also notable - pineapple, oranges, oxidized banana and tart, unripe mango. Sadly, a blanket of buttery, plastic and acetone-ish hints hides the subtle tones of the aroma. The flavour is light sweet, light to medium bitter and light tart sourish. Notes of juicy orange/lemon lemonade, bready/grainy malt, syrup, cotton candy light apricot, spices, grass and mild herbs. The mouthfeel is clean, a bit tad tart, light round and smooth carbonated. The finish holds green apples, grapefruit and earthy spices. Maybe a whisper of phenols. Medium bodied.

Defreni (2845) - Husum, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2011
Flaske: Orange klar øl med et kæmpe skumhoved. Duften er sorachi men ikke så dominerende. Let dild, men gæren blander sig. Smagen er frisk og igen sorachi men ikke fuldkommen. Bedre i IPA. Fin øl, men lidt højt prismærke.

typisk belgisk doft, fina ljusa toner, trevlig syrlighet, fruktig och även den ganska lätt och perfekt till en varm sommareftermiddag.

pilsnerrogge (2633) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUL 22, 2010
Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, creamy head. Sweet, somewhat yeasty aroma with notes of citrus. Flavour is sweet and fruity with loads of zesty grapefruit; a little bit too much zesty grapefruit.

Bottle. Nils Oscar is not my favorite brewery, to be honest. I don’t like their characteristic vegtable/yeast/way too sweet maltiness profile that i find in their beers. This one also had a touch of alcohol that reminds me of a maltl liqour beer. Big bodied though.
