3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sample at SBWF 2010. A little heavy malts for a saison (which is what they claim it to be) and they are also to heavy to really let the delicate sorachi hops contribute to their fullest. It’s still a decent beer, but it could be so much more.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is earth and cellarish. Taste is very belgian and dry. Interesting hop character which leaves a dry, earthy and leathery tone to finish the beer of dry.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated in 2011. 75cl bottle. Unclear, hazy. Deep amber to golden with a little small-bubbled off-white head. Aroma of caramel, Belgian yeast, fruit, some hoppy notes and juniper. Taste is kind of similar.
