bottle, pours dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma is carmel malt, some toasted nutty notes with a cinnamon and peppery fire. Flavor is nice and dark malt sweet with some spicing in the finish and a little bit of tartness lingering for a few seconds. Solid.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a nice brown color that’s chocolatey in nature, nice creamy off-white head. Nose is lightly toasted grains, and the flavor follows suit but there is some roastiness here too. Never been blown away by brown ale’s but this is honestly one of the best ones I’ve had. A style I always want to like, but generally falls short; glad to have this one.
The best component is probably the nicely lingering sweetness; the sum of the parts definitely adds up to more than the whole itself.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a clear brown with ruby hues, beige head. Aroma of some nice caramel, some toast, some dark roast. Flavor is exactly the same. Mouthfeel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, not bad, easy to drink...tasty....

12 oz bottle courtesy of Sparky27. Pour is cola brown with slight ruby highlights, decent settling builds up a one inch tan head. Thick lacing coats the glass. Aroma of stale roasted maltiness, some natural tobacco earthiness in there too. Not a bad nose. Taste is the slight stale roastiness of the nose, though in the taste it is more akin to weak office coffee mixed with iced tea. Some really faint apple fruit sweetness way in back. Big step down from the nose. Palate is thin to medium, a little of a metallic chemical thing going on. Overall, not much pleasant beyond the nose. Thanks for sending these all my way Eric.

From Sparky27 via trade. The pour was super dark brown with a short, light tan head. No real lacing. Aroma is roasty malts, light hints at smoke and chocolate and even some light spicy hops. The flavor is mostly roasted malt and light chocolate with some sourness sneaking in at times. Middle of road, thin mouthfeel with a finish that was slightly sour.
