BCMike22 (79), Atlanta, Georgia, USA May 18, 2008 Poured into Red Sox pint glass. Dark golden color, very cloudy...medium head that dies slowly. Smells a little malty, but no real definitive nose. Tastes very full for a blonde. Complex, but more confusing than balanced. Sweet almost citrus undertone. Not bad, not great.
steview (783), Oceanside, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 thick and dirty, stale honey bread; with a shake of pepper, and butter; yeaup, i have nothing else. golubj (1035), Redwood City, California, USA Sep 3, 2008 Bottle shared at the CA-GA cultural beer exchange hosted by alexanderj. Cloudy yellow pour. Aroma is melon, grain, slightly sweet. Flavor is the same, a little watery, but nice in the sweet grain department. Reminds me a little of high life. alexanderj (1342), San Diego, California, USA Sep 1, 2008 Bottle; orange tinted yellow in color. Aroma of lemon, bread and fresh cut grass. Very malty and lemony in the flavor with an earthy, grassy finish. A pretty good version of the style. Sparky27 (600), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 23, 2008 12oz bottle.
