Flavorful yet a little homebrewed tasting blonde. A little funky. Dark amber for a blonde

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Barreras (608) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - APR 13, 2013
Pours a blonde yellow color with a floral aroma. Taste is very simple without any complexity, clean but a little boring.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Caytinator (577) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 20, 2013
12oz bottle. Dark amber color, hazy, smallish head, good lacing. Aroma is definitely of finishing hops. One of those odd beers where the taste doesn’t match the aroma. Mild, but not to a fault. Tastes like hops but doesn’t bite. Herbal, too. It’s unique, distinctive, and well-rounded.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 ClubGonzo (2695) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 3, 2013
Bottle, shared with Bergen Beer Geek Tasting Crew. Pours a milky wit-like straw yellow body with a small white head. Nose is mild grainy wheat-like tones, citric peel and hints of grass. OK, but very mild. Taste is grainy citric peel tones, which fade into some rather bitter grassy notes towards the end of the palate. Fresh, with a thin body and moderate carbonation, but I long for a bit more in taste for this to be a good session ale.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Blairgus (1753) - California, USA - FEB 15, 2013
15 Feb 2013, bottle. dirty yellow, slightly hazy. nose is sweet, white grape, maybe a bit of honey. thin body and moderately fizzy. tastes like a straw malt lager with a bit more maltiness. meh.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 finn1918 (145) - Georgia, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Pours a slightly hazy gold with about a finger of white head that leaves a thin coating on the glass. Aroma is crisp malts and orange. Taste is very light and malty, with some slight hop bitterness to balance it. Some honey in there, too. Overall just kind of odd... not bitter enough to be a pale ale or pilsner, but not really light enough to be a blonde ale. Interesting, but disappointing.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 tomciccateri (885) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - DEC 25, 2012
On draught. Pours a deep gold with fine bubbles and a white head. Medium body. Mellow hop bitterness. Slight hop-over-malt flavor balance. Not very carbonated. soft maltiness. Nice summer beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 PorterPounder (4611) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 25, 2012
Savannah, Ga - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky, medium golden pour, sticky, medium thick white head. Aroma of vanilla and a bit of honey. Flavor leans to the sweet side with some vanilla notes, a brief touch of yeast, some cracker-like breadiness. Mouthfeel is just thick enough. Had better blondes - label is quite intriguing!
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 drowland (4992) - Jacksonville, Florida, USA - NOV 6, 2012
11/1/12. 12oz bottle thanks to the guys at Five Points in Valdosta! They’re giving me samples even though I only go there once a week! Light blond pour with a small off-white head. Very little aroma or flavor, to be honest. There are touches of pale malts, biscuit, and a hint of butter. Eh.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BeerIamBlog (20) - - OCT 29, 2012
Found this one to be bland. Definitely not for me, but they get props for a cool label.
