"Balance" is the key description for this smooth and refreshing Southwestern-style Blonde Ale. Nimbus Dirty Güera is brewed with the finest domestic pale malts and world-class Cara-Pils and Munich malts. Our use of select Perle and German Hallertau hops lends to the beer’s pleasant floral nose: low in fruitiness and mild in ester production. This combination produces a light, clean and crisp balance between malts and hops. Our Blonde’s subtle sweet undertones are derived from pure mesquite-flavored "killer-bee" honey that is harvested from hives in Bisbee, Arizona.

Hazy gold with a white head, aroma is sweet citrus with a vegative background. Flavor follows aroma with an overall vege DMS tainting the experience. Not a blonde I would recommend.

It was a decent beer. The flavor caught me by surprise. Had some veggie, fruity flavors, but really mind. The after taste was sort of nutty/buscuity which I’m assuming is the tarty/honey stuff everyone is talking about. The half naked women painted on the bottle is what prompted me to give it a shot. Give it a shot.

Pours a mostly clear golden bronze with some suspended yeast and an airy, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of mild pale malt has a touch of tartness and grass. Body is overcarbonated and otherwise pretty thin, along with a hint of earthy noble hops and grain finishing more tart and citric toward the finish. Somewhat drinkable, but that’s about it. Overall pretty bland.

Bottle thanks to cbkschubert Poured a pale golden body with thin head. Aroma is grainy malt with some slight citrus. Flavor is bitter and a little off with a lemon background. A little weak in the flavor and somewhat thin, but my mouth warmed up to it near the end.

Bottle: Hazy dull straw, moderate frothy white head, fairly nice lacing, extremely lively carbonation.   Pale straw nose, slight wheaty aspect, but also a slight touch of overcooked vegetable.   Vegetal start, a bit thicker than your average blonde, moreso like a pale wheat beer.   Soft vegetable aspect, slightly dry and tart.   Body and mouthfeel are average, but it does feel a bit thicker than other Blonde/Golden Ales.   Finishes somewhat clean, but a musty wheat and overcooked vegetable linger.   Tiz okay I spoze, but not as crisp or sharp as others.

12 oz bottle via cbkschubert (thanks!). Pours a hazy dishwater blonde. Small head. Nose slightly spicey. Taste is on the malt-driven sweet side, with some graininess, a little tartness in the aftertaste. No hops detected. Moderate/high carbonation. medium body. Inoffensive drinkable session ale.

12oz bottle poured a clear gold color with nice head. Aroma was pritty plain with some malty sweetness and a slight corn. The taste was really light with no bitterness and some honey notes in the finish. The light body and low alcohol make for a very easy drinking beer, almost just water.

Thanks to hopdog for a hitchhiker. Light blond colour with some honey mixed cloudiness and a good sized head. Malty sweet aroma. Easy drinking pale ale with unpasteurized honey and more on the sweet than the bitter

12oz bottle acquired in trades with FlactoAlto and cbkschubert (thanks!). Bottle notched October. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a large sized off white head. There was an initial stonger vegetable aroma that mostly went away. Other aromas of citrus, grain and a little bit spicy. Tastes of grains and citrus. Ends in a light sourness. Thinner body.

Bottle: Pours to a clear pale amber colored body with a medium eggshell colored head that quickly fades. The aroma shows clear DMS and possibly diacetyl problems, celery, vegitable, light fruit. Taste is DMS, celery, vegitable, powdered sugar, cabbage, pale grains, and hints of lemon. Light bodied, moderate carbonation. This is one I’ll make the effort to re-rate, but this one is clearly infected.
