COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Balance" is the key description for this smooth and refreshing Southwestern-style Blonde Ale. Nimbus Dirty Güera is brewed with the finest domestic pale malts and world-class Cara-Pils and Munich malts. Our use of select Perle and German Hallertau hops lends to the beer’s pleasant floral nose: low in fruitiness and mild in ester production. This combination produces a light, clean and crisp balance between malts and hops. Our Blonde’s subtle sweet undertones are derived from pure mesquite-flavored "killer-bee" honey that is harvested from hives in Bisbee, Arizona.

Poured light amber with smallish head and lacing. Aroma is malty with just a little honey. Flavor is malt with a bit of hops on the finish. Only 3.5 percent alcohol? that sucks

This was a pretty average pale ale. Good clear golden color with a small white head. Not much flavor, complexity, hoppiness, or anything else. But it’s only 3.5% alcohol, and as an alternative to Bud Light or Miller Lite it is a slam dunk wonder brew. My friends liked it enough to order a second draft. I went back to Arrogant Bastard.

A true microbrew beer for the beginning person to the microbrew world. It's the Hook! Your In! Great job for its style. I would recommend it to anyone!

I like the brewery and the staff that are there. This offering is gold in color but light in taste. I was surprised when told it was 3.5 ABV.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2007 Re-rated at the brewpub in Tucson: deep yellow, still and sticky. Starchy aroma, but nice floral flavors, lightly spiced and fruit-hoppy, but light. Very well done. My rating goes way up.

A deep gold color, it is quite clear and has a white head on top. It smells faintly of something that reminds me of some sort of soda, though I can't quite put my finger on it. There is a faint honey aroma perhaps. Tastes light with a bit of woodiness and it finishes with a bit of smokiness. A fairly dry beer that has a spicy note in the finish. As this beer warms up a nice amount of honey expresses itself. The mesquite honey is not strong but it adds complexity to an otherwise non descript style of beer.

Good summer day brew. Nothing bad about this but nothing interesting here, either. Very light, crisp, is a good volume-drinking beer too.

"Arizona Beerfest"!

It was nice to see the "Great Beer Lovers" from Nimbus at the beerfest, and they had several of their beers to sample. The beer is a winsome golden blond on the pour, the head is modest and bright white, frothy in texture and as it erodes, leaves behind a nice bit of lace. Nose is all malt, clean and fresh, crisp and just the kind of beer we like to drink when the temperature hits 115 degrees. Finish has a delicate hops presence, mildly acidic and a pleasingly dry aftertaste.

Blonde, medium head. Aroma is sweet, with mild hoppiness. Taste is sweet, mildly grassy, very pleasant, crisp.
