"Balance" is the key description for this smooth and refreshing Southwestern-style Blonde Ale. Nimbus Dirty Güera is brewed with the finest domestic pale malts and world-class Cara-Pils and Munich malts. Our use of select Perle and German Hallertau hops lends to the beer’s pleasant floral nose: low in fruitiness and mild in ester production. This combination produces a light, clean and crisp balance between malts and hops. Our Blonde’s subtle sweet undertones are derived from pure mesquite-flavored "killer-bee" honey that is harvested from hives in Bisbee, Arizona.

One can definitely taste the honey used in the manufacture. Unfortunately, there isn’t much else to its very light, hollow flavor.

Bottle from Park Lane Liquor in Lancaster, CA. The beer is a mostly clear orange-gold color with a medium thin and fluffy bone white head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Light floral hops and earthy malt in the nose. Light-bodied with a clean mouthfeel. Light hops, yeast and malt flavors. The finish is mildly spiced with a short and hoppy aftertaste. Overall the beer is a little below average, it simply doesn’t pack much punch.

12oz bottle from Bevmo Carmel. It’s got a great label!...... A lot more flavor than I was expecting. Nose of some yeast and citrus fruits.

Light gold color. Long lasting head. Light malt aroma, little citrus in the finish. Sweet malt and a little honey sweetness. Crisp finish with some yeasty spice as well. Light and refreshing. Good for the style.

Bottle shared by DenverLogan at the San Diego Festival of beer. Orangeish yellow with a decent head. Aromas were some citrusiness with maybe some other bright fruit. Flavors fell off a bit, but still hung on to the citrus for a little while. Just OK.

Tasted at the MicroBar in Clapham (London), a clear amber with some carbonation. A soft sweet grape aroma. A sweet bubblegum flavour, a bit too sweet.

Pours a clear yellow to brown with a healthy white head. This looks like a blonde should, and though I don’t like the style, a beer I would like to drink. The nose is middle of the road. Toast and canned corn. Lightly sweet with some peppery hops. On the tongue, a bit fizzy, but not particularly watery, about right for the style in most regards. I’ve never IDed DMS until drinking this beer. It was always a flaw I missed. But man do I taste the corn. A lightly sweet malt, with some toast. The corn is bugging me out! The corn and toast with a bit of sharpness lingers. A bit of diacetyl on the creamy finish. Not a great beer.
