State week month, week 1 Oct 2nd - 8th. State: Arizona.
Cheers to dcschiller for not only sending me this bottle of delicious beer, but for sending me a bottle with such an awesome label, I hope it’s easy enough to get off!
The beer pours a black color, ruby around the edges when held up to the light. The head is of a medium size, off white in color, and succeeds in leaving a nice lacing on the glass.
This is a damn fine smelling beer, loads of chocolate both dark chocolate and sweeter "hershey’s syrup" kind of chocolate are distinctly identifiable in the aroma. The beer displays a nice roastiness and the aroma is all around pungent and not unlike some sort of magical fermented mocha.
The flavor of the beer is pleasantly bitter, lightly tart, and displays plenty of roasty coffee-like flavors. The beer is lightly fruity and has some dark chocolate notes, it’s really not dry or anything but it’s pleasantly not-so-sweet.

draft at sheraton bar in phx. served way too cold which made it hard to get much aroma and/or taste. it was smooth and all the good qualities of an oatmeal stout but nothing stood out.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ChainGangGuy (3685) - Canton, Georgia, USA - SEP 22, 2011
Appearance: Pours a dark brown, near black body with a scant, yellow-beige head.
Smell: Light, stark notes of roasted grains, chocolate, fruit, and oats. All of it very, very light. All of it very, very forgettable.
Taste: A faint sweetness overlaying a roasted barley scaffolding, a few meager hints of chocolate, and a dull, low fruitiness. Lightly earthy, faintly bitter English hops. Dry, kind of flavorless finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-light carbonation.
Overall: A mild, mild-tasting beer that’s just plain boring. I wasn’t asking for much, I wasn’t, but, come on, Nimbus, give me something to work with.

Very dark brown pour, fizzy tan head. Dark oatmeal cookie nose, burnt on the edges, some coffee. Good body, clean on the palate, starts a bit full and thins out quickly to finish with a touch of burnt grain. Lingering finish grows in cookie sweetness over time

12 oz. bottle from daknole. Pours dark brown in color with a small beige head. The aroma had roasted malt, lactose and chocolate notes. The flavor was roasted malt and chocolate as well, with a hint of lactose. Pretty straight forward oatmeal stout.
