COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional stout using dark roasted malted barley to create a full-bodied ale. Rounded with the smooth flavor of oats, the addition of English Kent Goldings hops produces a creamy stout that has proven to be a favorite.

12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a Guinness glass. Served cold. Aroma: Dark roast, Some bittersweet chocolate. Pretty mild aroma. Appearance: Opaque dark brown body, sparse dark tan head. Nice lacing. Taste: Pretty mild. Not bad, but mild. Roasty. Straightforward. Palate: Full bodied. Moderate finish. Kind of creamy, but not as creamy as Murphyís. Better body than Guinness. Overall: Pretty good stout. Nothing really jumps out at me, but itís a pretty good stout.

Poured from a bottle, dark, with a good tan creamy head. Aroma is immediate with the oatmeal and roasted coffee beans. Taste is light than some others in this style, but still good flavors: dark chocolate, roasted coffee. A little bitterness at the end. Decent beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle; Poured dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma: light oat smell/ toasted/ metal. Flavor: Strong but not in a good way, tasted of metal, copper something to that effect. Slight malt/ roasted flavoring. Not my favorite.

Really appreciated this beer. Itís full body provided a great palate. Aromas and flavors are very appropiate for the stile. Rostness is right on the target.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled in 11/2012. Pours clear nearly opaque dark brown color with a 1 finger dense khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, oatmeal, cocoa, caramel, light coffee, floral, mint, and herbal earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with solid balance and complexity of roasted notes with a prominent amount of hops. Taste of dark chocolate, roasted malt, oatmeal, toast, caramel, light coffee, floral, mint, and herbal earthiness. Slight earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa, oatmeal, caramel, light coffee, and earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of roasted malt flavors with light-moderate hop presence; with good robustness and zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and fairly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with almost zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a very nice oatmeal stout. Well balance with nice flavor robustness and complexity; and very smooth to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle. Pours a deep black with a humongous brown head. Big aroma, of oatmeal, chocolate, coffee, toasted malt. Taste is lighter, lots of roasted malt, bitter dark chocolate, burnt coffee, and some oatmeal. Lingering roasted bitterness. Decent.

On tap at the mother ship, Nimbus Tucson East, though Iíve had it in the bottle before. Nice dark roasted flavor, probably their best offering.

Dark brown with a strong off-white head. Subtle aromas of chocolate and oatmeal and sweet malt. Taste is consistent with the aroma, only more definite. Sweet aftertaste is pleasant, not overpowering. Medium body, somewhat watery mouthfeel, creamy texture and a sweetness from the oats in the finish.
