COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A traditional stout using dark roasted malted barley to create a full-bodied ale. Rounded with the smooth flavor of oats, the addition of English Kent Goldings hops produces a creamy stout that has proven to be a favorite.

As good, if not better than Samual Smith's Stout. Truly representative to the style, and a sure fire favorite for this stout lover.

12 oz bottle. Label notching appears to indicate a bottled on date of Feb. 2014. Pours clear dark brown with a small head that soon reduces to a thin, partial coat. Aroma: sweet and overly floral with faint traces of dark malts. Flavor: Contaminated? Not so bad or off style that I am sure it is a bad bottle, but it certainly is a bad stout. Feel: mildly astringent; medium body.

Bottle from Total Wine. Dark chocolate brown color, with little to no head. Aroma has hints of chocolate and roasted malt. Taste is coffee. Not my favorite stout.

A little darker than most colas, off white head. Nose is malty with a hint of molasses. Taste is moderately sweet with a slight hop edge. Medium body. Lively carbonation. Good brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from BevMo, Phoenix. Roasted malt aroma with some chocolate notes. Pours black with a thin light brown than dissipates quickly and some lacing. Sweet chocolate flavor to start with roasted flavors right before the finish. Finishes quite smooth with the chocolate lingering on the palate. Nice brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, classic chocolate malt with light creamy notes, powdery and smooth. In mouth, a nice smooth smooth chocolate malt with light peated notes, grassy hops, smooth and quaffable. On tap at brewery.

Draft. Aroma is dark malt with some yeasty sweetness. Appearance is black with a creamy head. Taste is sweet then got to the dark malt, but not too dry, surprisingly. Palate is pretty neutral. Overall, a decent stout. Would buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
