Commercial Description:
A traditional stout using dark roasted malted barley to create a full-bodied ale. Rounded with the smooth flavor of oats, the addition of English Kent Goldings hops produces a creamy stout that has proven to be a favorite.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Black/brown and brown/amber edges. Roasty malt and bittersweet dark chocolate aroma. Same flavors, rather thin, though. Medium/light body, smooth, a bit watery. Very drinkable but too thin.

Aromas of burnt coffee, fermented fruits and bitter cocoa and some floral hops, pours a brownish black body with a small quick head the dissappears suddenly, flavor is dr. pepper like with notes of burnt coffee and cocoa, there is a light creaminess but a little too watery body and a dry. Overall, drinkable, but just one time, Next!

12oz bottle. Black with a weird, huge, rootbeer float type head that fills 2/3 of the glass upon tasting. The aroma is milder in intensity, but strong on roasted malts and barley, with a mild acidity. Flavor is dry, burnt, and slightly sour. Like a more flavorful Guinness. Light body with aggressive carbonation. Not getting much oat, body, or sweetness for that matter. Drinkable, but not something that i would go for in the presence of alternatives.

Courtesy TheCheeseMan. Very dark brown pour with a sparse loose white head. Nice sweet and roasty aroma with a hint of dark chocolate. Light mouthfeel - a real strong bitterness on the finish, less sweet than the aroma lets on. Nice aroma, palate a bit thin.

Props to Hellbilly for sending this one my way! This is a really good one, just below what Id consider the upper echelon of sweet stouts. Smells better than breakfast, rich coffee and oatmeal, some maple syrup and sausage...mmmm. Ok, maybe the last one was just my imagination! Pours very dark. Body is a tad on the watery side, no real lacing. Flavor is very good, lots of coffee and oats with a candy finish. Notes of roasted barley and chocolate and syrup. Very creamy on the palate. Very nice!

Pours a black color, some brown peaking around the edges. The aroma is full and roasted, with some nicw chocolate notes coming through. the flavor is a bit more intense than expected, with thhe roasted note leading the charge. The mouthfeel is a touch too thin.
