COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a medium white head and nice lacing. Aroma of mustiness, grass, citrus, pine, and weed. Flavor of caramel, orange, pine, and grass with a dry, bitter finish.

Pours a bright orange color with a nice white head and good lacing. Aromas are basic malts and hops but nothing over the top. It smells like a malty cascade pale ale. The taste is a bit underwhelming. Slightly hoppy, slightly malty. Easy to drink but it’s got a bit of a copper taste to it and it tastes oxidized. Not a great beer but not terrible.

Bottle from Plaza Liquors. pours brown with an inch of head. a tad of hop flavor on the nose. A bit of bitterness on the tongue. I’m kind of bored by this one.

[Tap] Bright amber colored pour with a lasting foamy head. Biscuit, grains and crisp hoppy aroma. Taste is of pine, citrus hops, astringent grains, some fruit, dinner rolls and earthy hops. Light and surprisingly fruity finish. Average mouthfeel and carbonation levels. A pleasant beer overall.

Draft at Nimbus. Pours clear amber, medium-thick off-white head, great lacing. Nose is spicy citrus hops, very 3-C. Flavours of spice, earth, florals, touch of citrus. Okay.

(12oz bottle). Puors copper with off-white head. Nice carbonation. Aroma of resin and orange. Taste is sweet with a semi-sour flavor-diacetyls. Medium bodied with oily texture. Slightly bitter, but smooth, finish. I would get this again if they fix the diacetyl issue.

Appearance: Clear yellow/gold with a medium sized white head and good lacing
Aroma: Stale citrus
Taste: Cardboard with bitter citrus finish
Bland with not much going on. This seems to be a Nimbus theme with the beers I’ve had.
