An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

Poured from the bottle. Nice head, good lacing. Aroma is quite dank. Flavor is quite bitter. Finishes really dry. Overall a pretty freaking good beer!

Draft at brewpub. Clear orange gold, big frothy white head. Not as aromatic as is flavorful. Light. Crisp. Semi dry. Mild bitter. Nice Northwest hop character. Simple. Safe. Does the job.

Decent beer, a little dry and bitter for my taste but still fairly enjoyable. Slight citrus. Beautiful head

For the style -- quite good. One you should seek out? No. One you should have it have the opportunity? Yes.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a nice malt and hops smell Appearance- this is a murky amber colored brew with a small off-white head. Taste- Has a yeast flavor and malt mixture, not bad. Palate- This is a medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Overall- Not a bad beer, slightly above average. I would drink this again.

Bottle 12fl.oz.

[ As Nimbus Pale Ale ].
Clear medium orange yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, some strange fruity ? Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, pale malt, and again the strange fruit ? Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle pour. Cloudy golden with a large foamy white head. Caramel, biscuit, and light hop aroma. Light body. Biscuit and hop taste with a sharp bitter aftertaste.

In honesty this one most of been infected...so take it for what it's worth. Foggy orange color. Super tart and green apple. Little to no hop distinction. Maybe I'll try and rate some other time. Of course, maybe not.

Snowy white head on a foggy, light oaken beer. Squat twistoff 12oz bottle with a label that looks like an altar scene from Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Chimp on the cap. Pickle-y, apricot malt and thoroughly-brewed hop aroma. Biscuity, golden raisins, not aggressively bitter, a little lemon zip. Definitely wouldn’t be confused with IPA. Medium mouthfeel, brushy carbonation. Pretty refeshing, a little on the bland side, a good picnic beer. Thanks to PorterPounder for schlepping this back for me from Georgia.
