Storm (2683), Amager, Denmark Mar 30, 2008 Hazy, golden colour with a nice ehite head. Little aroma of hops and fruitness. Flavour of hops and orange - ends up bitter and dry.
rkuhnel (1144), Eureka, California, USA Sep 30, 2008 Thanks to bhensonb for this bottle. A golden color with a huge fizzy white head that lasted for quite a white. Nose of light citrus hops and thin malts. Thin mouthfeel. Flavor is kind of musty and the finish is dry. Overall it seemed pretty ordinary but drinkable. fordest (1778), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Sep 18, 2008 Draft at the brewery. Some citrus and grapeish aromas, hoppy to a small extent. Lost a bit on the flavor. Hops were still there, but not really anything too exciting. Eh... Just ok goldbrew (99), USA Sep 9, 2008 Good enough on a warm late summer day. Huge billiowing head and a much more opaque cloudy beer than many other APAs. Piney Cascade hop aroma is evident but not a tremendously beckoning invite for the drink. Thinnish mouthfeel, hops aren’t as biting or crisply finishing as many pale ales I’ve had recently. Not a complex beer but it will do. Sparky27 (600), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 11, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a clear medium gold with minimal white head and spotty lacing. Nose is malt and light citrus. Taste is similar to the aroma. Has a strange resin-like, read: "like" bitter finish. Medium mouth feel. Not horrible. gbdub (37), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Jul 27, 2008 Slightly cloudy amber light amber pour with thick, foamy white head. Lots of visible carbonation. Strong hops aroma, thick and piney. Definite hops bitterness up front, but the aftertaste is more of a slightly sweet maltiness. A tad thin. A decent brew, not spectacular but tasty.
Note - I’m assuming I’ve got the right beer, blue and turquoise with angels and monkeys on the label. Doesn’t say palo verde, just pale ale.
