Snowy white head on a foggy, light oaken beer. Squat twistoff 12oz bottle with a label that looks like an altar scene from Beneath the Planet of the Apes. Chimp on the cap. Pickle-y, apricot malt and thoroughly-brewed hop aroma. Biscuity, golden raisins, not aggressively bitter, a little lemon zip. Definitely wouldn’t be confused with IPA. Medium mouthfeel, brushy carbonation. Pretty refeshing, a little on the bland side, a good picnic beer. Thanks to PorterPounder for schlepping this back for me from Georgia.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: APR 23, 2014 12 oz bottle dated 2014 and delivered by the distributor yesterday.
Durable bone-colored head over an amber body.
Fruity aroma with an off-note. Likewise, the flavor, though modestly pleasing, is rather odd with a mildly tart note of lemons and unripe apricots.
O: strongly suspect infected bottle. Will revisit with another.
Seems a bit better but stil wierd, with a surprising and unmistakable tartness.
revisited with a fresh 12 oz bottle date notched Feb. 2014 on 23 April 2014.
Ratings remain appropriate as is.

Albany, Ga. - Warehouse Package Store - 12 oz bottle. Hazy medium gold pour, pillowy, snow white head with nice lacing. Aroma is sour and funky and has just a hint of vinegar. Solid flavor with some doughy notes, a hint of peach, some light citrus bitterness. Thickish mouthfeel. Does in a pinch.

Twelve ounce bottle from Beer Of The (Every Other) Month Club bearing the name "Nimbus Pale Ale" tasted on October 25, 2013. Slightly cloudy medium amber color, sweet citrus/piney nose with fruit notes as well, good bittersweet flavor with orange and other citrus elements. Nice, sessionable brew.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A blonde ale with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, OK. In mouth, a smooth biscuit malt with grassy and lightly floral hops, OK. On tap at brewery.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at brewery 11/13/13-Pours amberish with a decent head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew was not bad bud was lacking something that I couldn’t put my finger on.

10/17/2013. From bottle. Light amber color with a thin white head. Aromas of malt and caramel. Flavors pretty much the same. Light hoppy finish, but overall bland and boring.
