COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style pale ale, this brew is hopped four times using plentiful quantities of Cascade and Columbus hops. The flavor is balanced by a subtle maltiness obtained from five varieties of malted barley and a slight fruitiness, to produce a classic beer in the style of the Pacific Northwest. A clean crisp ale with distinctive hop aroma.

Bottle thanks to daknole. Bottled on 12/2008. Pours a slight hazy light orange with a small white head. Aroma of diacetyl, sweet caramel, light floral hops, Flavor of bready/wheat malt, diacetyl, nice Pacific NW hops in the finish. It has an English IPA feel to it. Despite the age, this is pretty tasty actually. Rather enjoyable! 7/4/7/4/15 [3.7/5]

120z bottle thanks to Keith. Rating #158. Clear dark gold pour with a huge fluffy white head that lasted a good while. Big hop aroma with a little soapiness. Mild flavor with a pick up in bitterness as it coated my mouth and finished. Not bad. (2711)

Strong hop aroma. The hops were quite predominate and not well blended. Malts were conspicuously absent in the flavor. Pale ales should be easier to drink than this one.

Well shit. I can’t find an Arizona beer on the shelves in California, but here it is in Atlanta? What the fuck. Anyway, here is state #47. Bottle. Pours hazy amber with a large creamy white head and some weird looking small black particles sinking to the bottom. Great lacing tho. Aroma is somewhat unpleasant, actually, bathroom aromas with some caramel and bready malts. Not much going on in the hops department. This must be an old sample, but it is notched November 2012, which isn’t too bad. Flavor is better than aroma, pine and caramel with lingering bathroom. Nothing to write home about. Very light sweet and light plus bitterness lingering to the far finish. Not a very good start to my Arizona beer adventure.

1/2/13. 12oz bottle from Five Points in Valdosta, GA. Lightly hazed golden orange pour with a small off-white head that fades and laces a little. Clean malty aroma with a small touch of citrus. Slightly bitter flavor with more maltiness and a hint of lingering hop dryness. Not bad.

Bottle from total wine. New addition to ga if I have it correct. Not a bad seasonable drink. Pours a dark yellow and relatively translucent. Nice white head. Aroma is grassy hops and some hay. Flavor is maize and the finish is grassy and mild as well.

Very nice and hoppy. The taste is excellent and you can enjoy more than one without filling full.

Nice apprearance, pale orange with medium head, hazy. Sweet pine and low malt. Bland up front, unsatisfying mild hop finish. Body is light.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours out a hazy, pale copper-hued body with a small-sized, everso off-white head. A few stray pencil points of lace on the descent.

Smell: Slender pale malts with a mild aroma akin to damp, crustless bread. Faint, vague sweetness in the background. The citrus notes aren’t particular powerful, but agreeable.

Taste: Soft pale maltiness with a thin sliver of crisped grains. Drizzle of house-made golden syrup for a noted sweetness. Hop flavors of lemon and white grapefruit, lightly pithy, though not overly bitter. Drying, citrusy, but, again, not particularly bitter.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: While I enjoyed it, those looking for the hop character and bitterness to give you what for may be disappointed. I appreciate the relatively low ABV’s for the Nimbus beers thus far.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a light fruity note with some citrus hops backed by grains and a hint of popcorn. Flavor has earthy grassy hops with a hint of citrus and light fruit backed by some earthy grain.
