2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Dirty carmel, rather dark with a slight hue of red, huge foamy off-white head, spotty lacing.   Tart nose, somewhat herbal, unflavored pixie stix as well.   Tart herbal flavors, almost vegetal.   Fairly airy mouthfeel, either overcarbonated or more likely turning a bit.   Hop aspect is minimal, malts are a bit more pronounced, but overall its just a semi-sweet herbal tartened brew.   This one may require a re-rate as I dont think this was intended.   Iíll be back in Phoenix soon enough to try it again.

4.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Had one in Tucson Airport, during a 3 hour delay. A beer so diferent to others you just have to have one. Once you taste it you got to have another. It is rich in flavor, not so in aroma. Thick foam-head, actually good flavor.
Maybe the best beer Iīve had in a long time.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Cloudy amber pour, thin head. Malty aroma with notes of floral hops and paper. Flavor starts sweet and turns bitter. A touch of grapefruit and some off-putting perfuminess. Thin body and moderate carbonation. The hop and malt balance left a strange aftertaste for me. Not a favorite.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark mud/orange color with a thin white film of head. Aroma is very odd. Earthy and sweet, but there are some hops hidden in there. The flavor is odd, with some metallic notes and some odd hop notes. A very weird red ale.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle courtesy of FlacoAlto. Thanks! Pours a cloudy orange with a HUGE white bubbly head, had to let it settle for about 5 minutes before i could fit the whole bottle in my snifter. I actually smell like a toned down hot tomale... hmmm. Very malty, doesnít really taste like most ambers iíve had. But interesting, in a good way. Good beer in a unique kind of way.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a transparent copper amber with a well-lacing white head. Lightly sweet, toasty malty aroma has some grainy notes and a touch of grapefruity hops. Body starts slightly sweet and grapefruity with some earthy, mildly tart citric presence. Could be a little more balanced, but a decent red ale.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from FlacoAlto. Pours copper with a huge white head. Smells of citrus, perfumy wildflowers, some malty sweetness, roses. Taste is of citrus, lots of tanginess and mellow malt. Finish is lemony with some basic maltiness.
