Nimbus Red Ale

12 fl oz bottle. Pours cloudy and golden orange with a lacing white head. Pinewood dry hoppy aroma. Flavour is initially dry hoppy with a solid bitterness accompanied with a light fruity note. Mild sweetness following before the finish. Ends dry and light malty.

Nimbus Red is a smooth beer that reminds me a lot of Killians Irish Red. A very tasty beer to have on tap.

Poured into Red Sox pint glass. Enormous head that lingers long after the pour. Rich red color, but not overly dark. Malty nose. Complex malt flavors, one of which is (again) sour. Clean aftertaste for such a complex brew.

Pours a cloudy reddish brown with a soapy off white head. Aroma of malt and hops. Flavor is malt, faint hops, a little bitterness and some earthiness. Interesting brew.

Pours a nice red color with white head. Some lacing present after a few minutes. Aroma is malt, but like malt right as you add to the brew kettle. Very nice. Spicy hop aroma is present too. Flavor is heavy malt with the same hop presence at the end. A little sweet, but there seems to be a bit dustiness or muskiness. Light to medium body and the finish is a nice hopping as mentioned above. A nice red.

Had on tap at my favorite spot, Newport Pizza and Ale house. Nice light amber hue, sweet hints of citrus, gentle hops waves. Has a soft yet lingering finish. Pretty damn good with my slice of Ron Jeremy pizza~

12oz bottle from Bev Mo Carmel Mountain. A deep, hazed red/amber pour. Head was big and beige with nice lacing. On the nose, citrus hops and lightly roasted malts were prevalent. A nice smooth, toasty finish.

Pours a hazy amber color, 1/4" white head that disappears instantly. Nice lacing. Aromas of hops, light citrus. Flavor of light hops, and citrus. Very light to medium body beer. Smooth on the palate.
