Poured deeper and slightly cloudy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruit, some pine, caramel, and has a light spiciness to it. Tastes of citrus, toasty, light caramel, and has a hop leafiness to it (if that makes sense). KUEric (632), Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 14, 2006 12 oz Bottle: Outstanding! I like ambers, this is true, but this is muct hav ebeer if in AZ, or where distributed. For an amber is full and rich. Pours a light orangy-amber color with a very nice fluffy white head and some good lookn’ carbonation. Aromas are of hops some (although not a ton) of suagay sweet malts, and some other aromas such as nutty, roasted/burnt, grass, and citrus. The flavor began citrusy, then morphed into hops, malts, and some more hops. Although it wouldn’t please a ’hop head’ I was suprised by the level of hops in the beer. Quite good is all I can really sum it up with. cbkschubert (1968), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Light malt aroma. A very light caramel sweet flavor. Medium- light body. There just isn’t much to say about this beer. Worth a try.
Rerate: 12 oz. bottle 5/21/06 - Much better. More flavor and aroma. Next to the Nimbus Oatmeal stout, it’s thier next best beer. Styles (1653), Lincoln Park, Michigan, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 20, 2006 Bottle courtesy of FlacoAlto. Hazy orangish-amber with decent white head fades to film. Roasted grain is the only thing detectable in the aroma. Flavor again lots of roasted grain, with light citrus hop bite towards the finish. Better beer than score indicates, just can’t bump anything up though. drainey (231), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2006 Draft at Tucson Electric Park. Beautiful ruby red body with a small white head. Not much aroma. Flavor is hoppy with a nice malt complement. Palate is average for an amber ale. Quite drinkable. matta (1138), Tampa, Florida, USA

Pours an amber body with edges of orange. The aroma and flavor come across somewhat nutty with a toasted all-grain bread likeness, moderate caramel tones, along with a mixture of orange and lemon zests in the finish. A very drinkable beer, as it would make a terrific session favorite!

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 5, 2006 12 oz bottle, via FlacoAlto. Pours a hazy copper with a minimal head. Light citrusy hop aroma with some bready and caramel malt in the background. Bready malt and citrus hops again in the flavor. Hop profile is rather non-descript and not exciting. Palate is fairly thin with moderate carbonation, fairly refreshing. Pretty boring overall, a little thin and bland. No real major faults except in appearance, but won’t get ya too excited. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 22, 2005 12 oz bottle via trade with FlacoAlto - Thanks Sebastian! - Pours cloudy amber with not much head at all. Aroma is citrus some grapefruit and tangerine. underneath that is some caramel malts. Flavor is that same citrus. Grapefruit big bold hops, some sweet tangerine underneath blends with the caramel malts and yeast. Palate is crisp clean and refreshing. I can see why this did so well at spring training for the Diamondbacks. This would be very refreshing on a hot summer day. Enjoyable!
