Cask gravity at Berry Walmer. Clear gold lasting white head. Ok golden ale a little earthy on the drying finish. Yep some hop and decent enough.

Beese (1651) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 2, 2014
Cask at The Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy, light amber colour with a halo of white head. Aroma of some floral hops, digestive biscuits and cooked fruit. Stale malt dominated the initial flavour with some corn syrup and orange squash in the mix. Finish was wet grass, breakfast cereal and brown sugar.

Fruity aroma and aftertaste but I am unable to detect blackcurrant. A pleasant beer but not outstanding.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear golden, thin bubbly white head, very weak malty aroma, nicely balanced beer, bit of fruit, bit of malt, no strong flavour, easy to drink

On cask at Croglin Castle Hotel, Kirkby Stephen. Pours golden with white head. Quite fruity golden ale, not blackcurrant though. A slightly better than average golden quaffing ale.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Russett. Big white head and loose, abundant lacing. Beautiful burnt flavouring, which is insistent, without being harsh. Like roasted nut paste spread on wholemeal toast. Great malt balance giving a fulfilling mouthfeel.
