COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

I was so disappointed about this Ninkasi beer... No hops taste and to much sour... similar to a lager....

UPDATED: APR 23, 2013 Orange bodied, but got haze. Clear malts, some caramel. Light dough to lift it a bit. Drinks well, without much character. Short moderately bitter ending. Expected more from this brand. (33cl bottle from Au Nom De La Bière)

from Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - cloudy dark amber beer with a persistent foam left; a decent hop presence; estery tones, notes of pears and coriander; slightly acidic but with some sweetness below; medium-bodied; light residual sweetness and an aftertaste of chewy malts and yellow fruits

Bottled 330ml. -Unclear orange/amber coloured, small off-white head that went away nowhere for a while, sugary fruity nose. Moderate malty, yeasty and quite fruity with notes of brown sugar and spices. Bitterish hoppy finish. Pleasant beer, really nice surprise.
