COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed and dedicated to the believers of Ninkasi. Rich dark malt complexity is balanced by a plentiful hop presence bringing together perfection in every sip. Who knew believing had so many rewards.

Poured into a wide flute glass. Deep red color with a great inch of thick white head. Smells of rich malt, lots of it and only that. Initially watery, then malty with a hop kick at the end. Smooth and a little creamy. Low carbonation and medium bodied. A good mix. Great drinking beer. Nice malty smell and taste plus it is actually red.

Three years living in Eugene, and this is the first time I have rated this beer . It has a very unique flavor, kind of meaty, rich, salty, juicy. Iím not sure I like it, but itís so different I canít stop from drinking more.

Draft at Barcade - Erica, Stiffler, Kayla, Marc. Sat 7/5/2014. Dark dark red/brown, light coffee colored head, one finger. Smells a little roasty and grainy. Tastes ok - gritty, toasted malt, a bit creamy in texture... Short-legged aftertaste which is nice. (Points for sessionability.)

Bottle. Heavy malts, caramel nose. More on the side of a strong amber ale than a hoppy red. Hops are floral yet subtle. Strong malt presence with a distinctive maple syrup type taste of burnt caramel. Not my favorite interoperation of a the Double Red Ale style but solid brew.

Draft at alewife. Pours a murky reddish brown with thick off white lacing. Aroma is faint fruity malt. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of malt, dark fruit, grain and a light dry hop character in the finish.

Bottle shared at May Ale Alpharetta. Meld of fruitiness, resin hops, sweet maltiness with light toast. Very easy to drink with lots of flavor. Nice.

MMMMMMMmmmmmmm, reddish amber rambler out the gate! Doffs itís tiny cream coloured cap to you, "Gíday Sir, fancy a guzzle?". Aye, you will do, you will do. Spiced, bread and citrus nostril action and tasting of big caramel, nut and roast malts, pine and citrus acidity. Definitely some business you can feel weighing in your mouth on this fellow. I may not be a true believer but I totally see itís point.

Semi clear dark dark amber under a thin foamy lacy light tan head.Boozy and bitter aroma with some hoppy resin notes, raisin, nutty caramel, and dark amber sweet malts. The flavor is a little earthy and dry boozy with some candi sugar and leafy hop tones, with a little caramel aftertaste. Not bad just a little hot and earthy.

Bottle from friends in Oregon. Caramel malt aroma with some hop and piney resin notes. Pours red-amber with a thin off-white head and decent lacing. Starts with some caramel malt flavors followed almost immediately by hops and resin notes. Finishes quite dry with the hop bitterness and pine resin flavors lingering on the palate. Interestingly good red ale.
