COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Cloudy yellow with a thock medium sized head. Aroma has mango, yeast and apricot. Taste has citrus, yeast and fruit. Full mouthfeel, nice aftertaste. A nice show for a such a low alcohol content. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Color: nice clear blond beer with small carbonation and medium white foam. Smell: good malt balance with hoppy presence. Taste: really basic, and really drinkable. The balance is ok, no so extreme. Some citrus and orange notes. Aftertaste: nice bitterness.

Very bitter with a not-so-good texture (hazy), I was strongly disappointed by this famous beer from Lyons.

Citrus and sour, sharp taste. Sour palate with hoppy nutes. Medium-long finish. White head, stays for 2 minutes. Yellowy colour, somewhat honey-like, hazy.

Bottle marked as Bière Blonde. Misty dark golden body with stable pearl white head. Clean yet apparent yeast aroma, hay and barnyard. Usually like these but the crisp bitterness annoys me. This is more balanced in the taste, helped by a smooth bitterness, but still... Kind of a cheap feel. Very short, simple sugar aftertaste. Not all that great really. Disappointing. (33cl bottle from Au Nom De La Bière)

tap @ Ninkasi Ferrandiere. Pours clear golden with a small white head leaving lace. Aroma is malty grainy a bit soapy and hay. Flavor is fruity slightly perry, malty dry and bitter; very clean and crisp. Finishes fruity bitter and dry.

Gold clear, Nose is not clean: baker’s yeast, diacetyle, burnt rubber ... light notes of each, but Mate, are’net these all the possible negative flavours an ale can get? Palate is OK, afterstate not so good (same flavours as nose). Aromatic profile is definitly not its strength. No-CHeers !

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Lemon, tea and malt in the aroma. Hoppy taste with hints of grapefruit and tea. Fairly enjoyable.

Simple blond beer that hits the spot as a pre-dinner drink. Dry palate and perhaps almost ungenerous with its flavour but I like the way the subtle lemon and ’asprin’ flavours drive a zingy refreshing finish.
