3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Ninkasi Croix-Rousse. Light to mid-gold. Clear with a bit of white head and lots of lacing. Looks mega-filtered. Smells it, too... although the citrussy malty aroma is pleasant enough. Taste is sweetish and a bit stale and uninteresting. Not particularly fond of this one but it’ll do.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bue à la pression. Blonde claire, fine mousse blanche. Peu de CO2 (comme toutes les ninkasi que j'ai bues...) corpulence light, goût de grain. Déséquilibrée. Pas terrible.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
At one of the brewpubs: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grass. This beer is pretty bitter and a bit herbal. I didn’t like the first few sips as I kept at it, it grew on me. Not bad at the end of the day.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
75cl bottle. Perfectly golden and clear, small snowy white head. Nose : soapy zest from citrus, bread and grains. Sip : Low density, creamy texture and good carbonation. Moderately sweet start flavoured by grains, it gets crispy and dry with citrus zest notes. Short finish. Ok refreshment. It does taste more like a blonde then a pils to be honest which is good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
from Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - hazy dark blond-orange beer under a persistent foam; fair fruity hoppy nose with hints of melon, orange peels and pineapple; medium-bodied at best and with a moderate carbonation; gently bitter, slightly dry and with more fruity notes in the finish - nice and refreshing

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy blond color. The aroma, strangely, is quite fruity. Despite the sudden expectations, the mouthfeel is very dry, with light grassy flavor, and nothing else of interest.
