COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An IRA bursting with notes of mango, papaya and pineapple, this beer finishes juicy with a subtle malty backbone. It doesnít take brains to know hoppy, tropical IRAs are a great way to welcome warmer months ahead!

22 oz bottle from "Habits" beer and cig store in S.Salem $3.59 Light amber coloured beer with a nice thick and creamy off white head ( about half an inch). Balanced aroma, deep caramel malts and floral type hops. Taste is also balanced with the juicy hops just winning out. Nice mouthfeel medium with good carbonation( soft). A nice enough simple IPA.

On tap at Torst. The second high quality red Iíve had from these guys in as many days. Full and ripe but not cloying, but probably feels like itís playing above its 7%. Hop profile is essentially IPA (maybe even a light DIPA) but the warm from the malts is a nice offset. Oily and hard herbal finish.

Pretty good red ale. Has the peculiar rye malt flavor. Iíd say it has a bit more of the sugar of tropical fruit than the flavor, but I get a bit of banana and mango. Nice balancing bitterness.

22 oz bottle from Albertsonís in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma is citrusy and resinous, with hints of barnyard, perfume, and Budweiser lager yeast. Mouthfeel is crisp, with a short, bitter finish. Taste is sweet and bitter, but the ingredients donít seem to mesh well, leaving the beer tasting unbalanced.

Pours a copper color with an orange hue. Aroma is fruity, distinct mango, pineapple smell. Taste is tropical, with a cool papaya flavor mixed with a malt bitterness. A bit dry, with a crisp finish, overall another good beer from a good brewery.

Nice! Either an IPA with a red malt backbone, or a red ale with IPA-like hoppy overtones. Either way, Iím enjoying this. I get more red malts at first, but later sips are more hops.

Bottle @ booze cruise. Brown appearance with a light brown head. Caramel, toasted malty, a bit nutty, herbal hoppy aroma. Poetry chewy, slight candy, grapefruit citrusy, bitter caramel flavor. Harsh bitterness.
