3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz bottle from "Habits" beer and cig store in S.Salem
Light amber coloured beer with a nice thick and creamy off white head ( about half an inch).
Balanced aroma, deep caramel malts and floral type hops.
Taste is also balanced with the juicy hops just winning out.
Nice mouthfeel medium with good carbonation( soft).
A nice enough simple IPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Capone’s. Pours clear dark straw toward copper with 2=finger off-white head. Nose is piney hops, malt, black pepper, pineapple. Tastes resiny, peppery, with notes of caramel malt, tangerine, and a dense and delicious finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy orange amber pour with a large frothy head. Feel creamier than expected for a rye IPA. Fairly juicy tropical fruit character but also has that spicy rye bite. Mandarin pith. Pineapple cores. Kumquats. Mango skins. Apricot pits. Grassy hop resins. Interesting, but the tropical flavors seem a bit at odds with the rye.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml bomber pours a golden orange color with a generous white head that retains well and leaves some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is tropical fruits with some grains and hints of caramel. Taste is a tropical fruity and grainy malty sweetness with some caramel notes and a pleasant citrus hop bitterness. Medium bodied with good carbonation leaving a pleasing sensation on the palate. Overall, a well balanced and nice crafted brew which is tasty and was very much enjoyed.

Pours more golden than red. Weird. Aroma of citrus, fruit and grassy hops. Similar taste with pretty good balance.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a well retained, tiny bubbled, off white head, with moderate lacing, over a clear medium amber (SRM 10) body.....nose is heavy hops, with pine resin, citrus, tropical fruits, light cereal from the toasted malts, balance to the hops.....taste is light pine, resin, mango, light citrus with orange, lime notes, slight floral sweetness, finishing with a moderate bitterness, balance to the hops.......mouth feel, light of medium body, slight alcohol warmth, high, almost creamy carbonation. This is a quite pleasant, but very gentle Red IPA. The hops are quite soft, with great complexity in both aroma and flavor, but with very light bitterness. The malts are relatively hidden, but with the types of hops used, the beer is just almost balanced. The body is light for any style IPA. A tweaking of the malt backbone, adding perhaps oats, wheat or flaked barley which would improve the body, and add a bit more interest and improve the beer. BJCP8/3/15/4/7

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Walmart. Medium amber/copper in color in my goblet. Very tropical smelling nose. Some pineapple and a touch of mango. A little bit of a citric hop scent as well. Flavor is pretty hoppy up front. A really solid malt base as well. Finish is nice and hoppy. Tasty brew.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This is poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy to burnt glossy red color. There was a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about thirty seconds.
The smell had a decent amount of caramel malts with a leftover sort of stringy hoppiness, honestly, not much there.
The taste was mainly oily sweet with a tad of bitterness. Slight oily aftertaste leading to a semi-dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it.
The carbonation was somewhat there but slightly subdued.
Overall, I say this was an okay red ale. Nothing special, wishing Ninkasi would put dates on their beers.
