Dark hazy gold. Very drinkable. White lacing. Bisquity, crusty bread. Really light.

Pours a hazy golden color with a small amount of lacing. Smells average, moderate sweet corn smell and maybe some pear and apple. Tastes kind of like Hamms, not good. Overall another disappointing horrible beer from the kings of insipid overrated overpriced beer.

Bottle:   Bright straw, clear, large frothy white head, sparce lacing.   Sweet and starchy grass like nose, a bit of a musty yet spicy basement.   Very nice smooth maltiness up front, grassy, semi-sweet, with a definite spiciness to it.   Almost reminds me of faint cinnamon.   Not sure how the hell I am getting that from a Helles.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Clean finish, definite straw/hay, lingering spiciness.   Not as crisp as others, but the spiciness I thought was a very nice change.

On tap. Smells of fruit and malt. Pours a light golden color with light head and hardly any lacing. Tastes like sweet malt and grapes. Not much going on with the palate sort of chewy. Overall its ok but another disapointing beer from Ninkasi.

12 oz. bottle, thanks Poisoneddwarf- Pours slightly hazy golden with a thin collapsing white head. Aroma is mildly floral, but very subdued. The taste is very smooth up front, followed by a mild hop bite in the finish, somewhat spicy too, thats kind of weird. The body is medium and so is the carbonation. Overall not anything special, but I just had a Pacifico Light, so this is great right now.

Bottle from bhensonb. Pours light amber with a thin off-white head and a fruity aroma. There is a crisp smoked malt flavor with a bit of fruit and a dry bitter finish.

Golden tanned body, etiolated froth head, that diminishes into a swath of small bubbles kept alive my the abundant carbonation.Cereal grain nose, with some "green" tannic notes. The body is quite toasty and again, those "green" tannic notes surge to the forefront. Some "kitty litter" quality to it and also biscuity.

Bottle from Malt and Vine. Pours brazen gold with a good white head. Nice bready/spicy aroma. Med body. It’s definitely got some nice spice, it’s fairly bitter. Nicely done.

Bottled. Pours clear, pale gold. Short white head. Good retention. Clean hop and cereal malt nose. Light bitter-sweet flavor. Light body, good carbonation, oily-thin texture, and a crisp bitter finish. Highly sessionable and well crafted.

Robust helles. Bolder than traditional versions, but it’s tasty. Crisp, bright, spicy and snappy. Dry and bitter finish. Herbal and grassy. Hints of white pepper and grape skins. Refreshing.
