Aroma: Coffee. Appearance: Black with just a wisp of a head. Flavor: Dark dried fruit, roasted malt, molasses and alcohol. Medium sweet with a bitter hop finish. Palate: Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Overall: Interesting and intense flavor, but the finish detracts from the overall quality of the beer.

Way too thin for an imperial stout. Seriously, shit is weak. Otherwise nothing impressive.

This bottle is more than a year old.. 22oz. It tastes like a wine at first then with sweet chocolate taste. Then kindve a roasted carmely after taste. Not bad. I like it.

Tap: dark brown pour with thin tan head. Aroma is nutty, with roasted and charred grain, and some toffee notes. Flavor starts with lots of roasted grain, some charred notes, a little coffee and a finishing touch of caramel/maple sweetness. Palate begins with a bitter tone and rather thin for a big beer, before moving on to a mild sweetness. Nice flavor and much too easy to drink for a big beer.

Shared a brown bomber bottle, thanks gregwilsonstl. Poured into a nonic pint glass, dark reddish-brown colour with persistent beige foam and some lace. Aromas of freshly-cut grass, roasted barley, lots of earthy hops and fruity ale yeast esters. Flavor was dominated by roasted grains, almost to the point of harshness, but not quite unpleasant, caramelly malt, mild hops balance, hints of cooked fruit syrup. Medium body, low carbonation, long-lasting fruity and bittersweet aftertaste. Nice stuff.

Tap at Paradiso Georgetown. Inkier black pour, medium mocha foam with good webby lacing. Purple soda, grape Fanta nose. Taste is purple drank. Bitter chocolate, tar. Not bad. Long bitter chocolate finish. Loved by my friends. A lot of the beers on tap tonight had this grape soda flavor, perhaps from unclean tap lines.

On tap @ Alibi Room. Darkest brown, almost black with thin tan head. Roasty, chocolate, coffee flavours predominate. Thick and bitter. Nice mouth feel. A bit of alcohol burn. Good stuff.
