Jadis exportee vers les colonies britanniquies, l'India Pale Ale est une biere cuirvee au corps malte. Son attaque en bouche est puissamment fruitee. Elle vous livrera ensuite use franche amertume qui envahira litteralement votre palais.

Yummy after a day of snowboarding at squaw valley. Had this brew at the Auld Dubliner. I'd recommend it. ---Posted via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 75cl, a cloudy golden orange beer with medium head. Nose is on agrumes, aroma is yeast like and on lemon, hops is not much there, boring, finish is poor, body is low, ester, medium bitterness just a Belgian blond.

Bottle from the brewpub, drunk at ChrisOís Christmas Tasting, 28th Dec 2010. Cloudy orange, slight white head. Light fresh linen nose. Needs more citrus bite but itís nicely light and soft, very drinkable.

750ml bottle @ Christmas tasting on 28 December 2010. Gold/amber colour. A bit murky. Very decent hops on the nose - quite aromatic, with orange, grapefruit and grassy notes in evidence. Distinctly orange on the palate. Moderate bitterness with a touch of residual sweetness. Firm. Slightly slick, mouthfeel. May not be a blockbuster in comparison with many US IPAs but itís a solid effort from country hardly known for producing IPAs. I can safely say itís the best French IPA Iíve tried.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruits. The flavor is sweet acidic with notes of malt and fruit some from citrus fruits, leading to a dry, bitter, and tart finish.

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Very hazy gold beer with a very small white head. Softish palate with mild carbonation. Marmaladish orange with sweet caramel malt underneath. Finishes soft. Like the way this beer delivers itís hops in a soft way - makes a change from the usual slap accross the chops!

Bottle, Chris Oís Pre-NY tastings - thanks Caspar! Aroma is oak. Sauvignon Blanc grapes, bready yeast and also a tad floral element on the nose. Taste is Sauvignon Blanc grapes, honey, sweet malts, floral hops and also quite bitter. Sweet and floral and moderalely hopped. I really am not a white wine drinker so sad to say this isnít working for me.

In short: A different kind of hoppy beer. Very smooth highly drinkable beer.
How: Bottle (22oz?, 750ml?). Consumed fresh a few weeks after purchase directly in France. Tasting session with Montreal crew.
The look: Opaque dark orange body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose is very tangy and fresh grass. Taste is orange muffin, a lot straws, yeast, a bit of earth, some citrus fruits, some grass. Very mild bitterness. The carbonation is smooth. Something about the straw-like malts and yeast made for a body that felt very light yet very full. Far from an intense beer, this one is overall very smooth. This was a fun beer, and one I could drink many pints of. This is a good beer and I donít know why that beer got trashed by so many ratings. I think these people have a chip on their shoulder. The easiest point of amputation is the neck.
