Bottle... Poured crystal clear, pale golden with a thin, white head with little retention. Pretty standard Helles which is all I can ask for. Malty and sweet. Bread-like cereal grains, mild citrus zest and faint hoppiness with a clean, sourdough grain finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very pale with no head, and lots of fizz. Looks a lot like a ginger ale. Smell is hay, cereal, and a bit of skunk. Flavor is a little bit sweet. Very refreshing. This beer is a mixed bag, but overall very drinkable.

Bottle:   Straw and hay, even a touch of wheatiness.   Mild sweetness, crisp.   Very clean.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Even feels a bit zesty.   Clean too.   Lingering straw, hay, and grass.   Very light sweetness, maybe even a touch of lemon.   Another great lager from Ninkasi!

This helles is a bit on the sweet side, mostly sweet grains in both the flavor and aroma. Any hop influence comes in at the very end, almost killing the sweet aftertaste with a hint of bitterness. I don’t remember the German helles being adjunct grain sweet like this....

This is actually really tasty.Nice and light giving it a refreshing feel, but still a lot of flavor in it. Almost like a more developed, flavorful, and refined PBR. Frothy mild sourness with citrus crispness. Bready aroma out the bottle.

Clear pale yellow in color... Aroma of pils hops... Flavor is extremely light, hint of sweet pale malts, light pils hops... Lawnmower beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Pale yellow color with white foamy head which thins to one thin layer. Highly carbonated. Smells of green grape and wheat. Taste is poor with bitterness unlike nicks with tart watery finish. 4.3 bd

Bottle Pours a clear light yellow orange. Fleeting fizzy head that dissipates quickly. No lacing. Pale pilsner malts and noble or czech hop aroma. Light malt body with notes of corn and cereal. Rater Pilsnerish and the classic sharp saaz.Hal bite at the end, Crisp, indeed

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Blond color, small head. It has mild aroma and flavor of malts, cereals, water cracker; the mouthfeel is soft and not too dry; the bitterness level is correct and the hopping is a bit grassy. Balanced and fresh. A very fine Helles.
