Visual: Pours light straw yellow, minimal head, thin ringed retention with a medium island, tight clusters of micro streams.

Nose: clean sweet lager malt, mild fart (lvl-3)-pungency

Attack: sharp crispy clean bite

Mid-palate: tingly CO2 mouthfeel, (lvl-3-sweetness), light density grainy pils malt, subtle honey tangy,

Finish: soft gentle bitter hops, lingering sweet barley malt finish.

Summary: Clean and crisp, a very drinkable lager with more depth than and body than the big brews. Not my favourite style but this one is nice and rounded.

[2/2/16] Draught at Rosamunde Sausage Grill - Mission in San Francisco. Golden. Grainy aroma, slightly vegetal, with a bit of grassy hops. Grainy flavor, slightly sweetish, with bitterish grassy hops. Rather light-bodied.

From the bottle. Aroma is sweet and a bit grainy with some grassy hops. Flavor is similar, light and grainy with some grassy hop bitterness. Light bodied with a crisp finish. Not super familiar with this style but seems like a hoppier Pilsener.

12oz brown bottle. Pours out pale yellow with a fine haze. Head is white, fades out quickly leaving only a weak thin ring. Aromas of grass, bread, hay, lemon. Taste - thin and dry malt character with light grass notes. Plain and uninteresting finish. Disappointing brew, pretty thin all around.

Bottle at home, courtesy of Patrick. Pour is clear golden with a small white head and decent lacing. Crackery, some grain, almost soapy, touch of grass and cracked pepper in the aroma. Taste is mostly grain heavy, some cereal, grass, light apple notes, straw, and minerals. Light body with high carbonation. Ok.

Bottle. Clear sparkling gold with a short white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy-floral and malty with initial minerality (calcium, granite) that then turns to metal, soap, faint chlorine, while the malt seems to smell like apples and nutrisweet. Medium-light bodied, semi-sweet with relatively strong bitterness and a harsh bite to the body, finishing slightly syrupy with notes of simple syrup, corn syrup, saccharine, lemons.
