Bottle: yellow golden pour with large creamy white head. Aroma is citrusy pine with a touch of pineapple. Flavor is mostly dry with lemon, grass, hay, and finishes with a touch of honey. I like the flavors. It goes through a variety of grasses and has a linger bitter finish.

22oz bomber pours with a clear gold body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up some yeast, lemon and lime and then a bit of malty sweetness on the back end. The taste is a little yeasty too where there is an edge of spicy yeastiness as well as a mix of lemon and lime and some malt sweetness that tries to bind all of this together. It may not sound like it but this comes across as a pretty tasty IPA with some decent hop bitterness mix with malts and mild hop flavor.

This was a pretty solid beer all the way around. A nice hop aroma and flavor and pretty easy to drink, though pretty much everything tastes great relaxing out in the hammock.

This "Summer IPA" pours a cloudy but translucent, golden-orange body with an inch of off-white head that settles slowly to a thin blanket. The flavor is nicely balanced, offering a grainy, cereal maltiness that is pleasantly toasty and minimally sweet, as well as a complex hop character that is floral, grassy, yellow citrus, and slightly piney with a moderate bitterness that extends the finish till the next sip. The enticingly aromatic nose echoes the flavor, with toasty and grainy malts and earthy, piney, and grassy hops. Medium in weight, quite dry on the palate, moderately carbonated, clean, and quite refreshing, which is the point of an IPA, but especially one that calls itself a Summer IPA. A fair amount of patchy lacing decorates the glass. Yet another solid and thoroughly enjoyable beer from Ninkasi.
