A salute to the playful side of summer, we had fun with this beer! Maiden the Shade has a big robust hop character from the liberal use of 7 different varieties of hops. It s completed with a light colored malt backbone to stay in balance. Kick back and enjoy!

Amber color, clean. Very nice aroma of hops, resiny and fruity, piney, with some biscuits. Good toffee flavor, not sweet, but with a round mouthfeel; good hopping, for strength and quality, providing a fair share of piney resins, leading to a long final.
Fresh, very good.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy amber gold with a 3 finger foamy off-whie head. Aroma of grapefruit/citric hop. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Very grapefruit with a light caramel backing. Balanced? It’s very hoppy and very bitter, so who cares. Finishes with grapefruit. Very refreshing. And it seems to go a bit floral after a while.

On tap @ Draughts (Thousand Oaks). Orange pour with a white head. Nose is orange, grapefruit, and plenty of pine. Fairly floral, some sweet bread, and grass. Decent flavor of grapefruit peel, orange peel, and pine. Grassy hops, bread, apricot, and a strong floral note. Subtle fruity tartness.

Excellent bomber of 72 IBU, like a 1.5X IPA. Very flavourful citrus that is a bit of a palate shredder and a great hophead delivery. Above average mouthfeel, and good hop aroma. Great drinkability. Thanks Ryan.

Pale golden pour with a thick white head. The nose is very bright and hoppy with a lot of soft grapefruit and some bright chewy hoppiness. Fresh and citrusy. Juicy and fruity.

Sample at the Tap House Grill in Seattle. The beer pours a slightly hazy straw color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes gradually. Stringy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of floral hops and malt. Medium-bodied with a moderately bitter herbal hops character and notes of citrus and malt. The finish is hoppy with a floral aftertaste. Above average overall.

22oz bomber pours with a clear gold body that supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up some yeast, lemon and lime and then a bit of malty sweetness on the back end. The taste is a little yeasty too where there is an edge of spicy yeastiness as well as a mix of lemon and lime and some malt sweetness that tries to bind all of this together. It may not sound like it but this comes across as a pretty tasty IPA with some decent hop bitterness mix with malts and mild hop flavor.
