From a bomber, a gift from my nephew. Iíll call it dark brown, beige head fades to a ring, no lacing to speak of. Aroma is ash, coffee, roasted malt. Flavor is bitter chocolate and coffee with a mildly bitter finish. I didnít get a vanilla flavor or scent. (They must have forgot to put it in my bottle.) I wouldnít call it a sweet stout, Iíd call it a damn good stout! I need to go back to Oregon!

Bottle from 802. Pours very dark brown with a beige mostly lasting small head that leaves scant lacing. Aroma is roasty malt and a slight moldiness. Medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter tastes, average to lively carbo, lots of dark roasted malt, cream and caramel flavor leading to a sticky sweet, lightly bitter finish.
