Bottle. Rich roasted malt aroma with subtle notes of chocolate and coffee. Pours black with a thin light brown head and very little lacing. Starts with strong roasted malt flavors with light hints of chocolate. Finishes smooth with the roasted malt flavors permeating throughout the finish and leaving the palate with a light coffee flavor. Good stout.

Bottle thanks to joenugs. poured into a snifter. Nose is sweet, decadent chocolate. slightly milky, with some dark cocoa as well. Deep brown, darker than one of the stouts I had tonight! Taste is grainy, almost wheaty up front with a slight slickness to it as well. Chocolate comes through mid palate, with a moderate bitterness. Dries out in the finish without astringency or harshness. This does not taste like a 7% beer by any means, very smooth, chocolate and oats work in harmony on this one! Thanks!
