Draft - I was told it was 7.2% ABV at the brewery. A pitch black beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with an acidic note from the roasted malt - since the flavor is very roasted, but also has notes of oatmeal and chocolate.

Dark brown, looks thick. Nice thick head. Rich roasty aroma fulling just short of imperial status with oaty, creamy nuances. Creamy rich, full of oats, very smooth and full-bodied. Chocolatey - dark chocolate bitterness and light roast accents. Maybe some burnt fruit at the back. Excellent spring stout.

Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom! It is pitch black with a light brown and creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, oats, cocoa (but only while still cold), chocolate and coffee. The slightly sweet flavor has notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, a hint of rubber, oats and the slightly dry finish has a hint of citrus. Nice to drink!

Bottle from Bottle Trek. Very dark brown black color with a tan smear that went away. The aroma of chocolate is immense. Body is medium plus with lots of chocolate and a good bit of coffee, followed by smooth burnt toast. Pour your Guinness down the drain.

Bottle. Deep black pour. The nose is quite intense and there is a kiss of sweet maltiness. Some nice chewy, charry, leathery sweetness and a touch of chocolate malt as well. Very herbal and a bit charry. There is a kiss of almost blackberryish fruitiness as well. A bit of light sweetness on the back. A fairly herbal hoppiness on the back. It’s pretty nice, really.
