Poured from tap to glass. Light straw hue with white head. Aroma clean with essence of cloves, lager sulphur, sugar, honey. Mouthfeel is nice with light body and moderate carbonation. Taste is dry with sulphur in the finish. Overall this is a really nice Czech pils.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle. Pours yellow, fluffy white head. Bready yeast aroma. Sharp hop bite, sharp hop finish. It’s too sharp for a proper pils, imo, more an american style I think.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a half finger of head on a clear golden colored body.
The aroma is bready and dry grain.
The taste has a strong dry bitterness, hint of lemon and a little metallic. Dry finish.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It hits the pils style pretty hard on the bitterness... maybe too much for some. Still any enjoyable drink.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle from "Lifesource" in Salem.
Pours a typical pils gold colour, the head is very small and goes in a matter of seconds leaving a ring.
Certainlly smells authentic, lots of golden caramel malts along side grassy sharp hop..very nice.
Taste has the hops more prominent and juicy but the malts are still strong, very good indeed!
Good mouth feel..well carbonated and not watery.
Wonders never cease!! I was expecting this to be another plodding attempt at a Pilsner by a Oregon brewery but this was very good indeed.
