Bottle; poured a dark amber-slightly orange color with a frothy khaki head. Aroma of orange, caramel, citrus, flowers and yeast. Flavor was mellow, yet crisp. Alot of caramel and bread, with some earthy and fruity hops. Hops are subdued. Ok overall

Tap @ The Sushi Bar (McCall, ID): Pours a light amber color with a nice head. The nose is lightly citrusy with a nice fresh hop note and some creamy caramel malts. The flavor is balanced, not overly bitter but with a nice malty body and more crisp hop notes in the tail. Almost an english style IPA with PNW hops. Good refreshing summer ale that isnít TOO light.

Pours copper/amber with a medium sized white head that leaves good lace. Smells pretty good. Fruit and spice and hops and malt. Nicely balanced, bitter and sweet. Tastes the same. Fruity with some iced tea. Building, mild bitterness. Decent. Med body, ok carbonation.

You know what? It isnít so hot and muggy after all. The bitter finish feels crisp. Overall quite tasty with a lovely orange hue. Lots of citrus hops, a little floral. Everything is in balance. 22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip glass. Ninkasi, you continue to do right by me.

Nice looking stuff, clear orange pour with a pile of lasting white foam that left lacing all the way down the glass. Smells a little of sweet malt with floral, herbal hops. Very crisp and balanced tasting stuff, a little sweet and toasty maltiness with well balanced earthy, herbal, and floral hops. Ninkasi sure makes some beers with lovely hop profiles.

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer - This is a good looking orange beer with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is hay and grass. Is a bit lighter on the tongue than I expected based on the appearance. Finishes clean. Aftertaste is a bit like sunshine. Nice summer beer with a sneaky 6% alcohol.

2010 Bottle - Pours a clear copper with a medium beige head...aroma is citric and floral hops, dry caramel malt and cereal grain...flavour is dry and bitter, bready malt and pine...fairly straightforward, decent...
