Nothing stands out on this guy. Although the summer ale part could be misleading. Another hoppy brew from Ninkasi.

Poured from a bomber amber, almost redish. Appearance is crystal clear, much like other Ninkasi brews. Aroma is a bit heavy on the malt but finishes a bit bitter due to the above average hop schedule. Overall, quite a nice beer.

Solid. Almost an IPA. Hop centric in a grapefruit way, with a good malt base. B. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: APR 20, 2014 22 oz Bomber. The beer pours to a light copper color with a small head. The aroma has a slight floral, grass & bread notes to it. The taste is light in body & has a mild bitter finish. Overall an average Pale Ale.

slightly cloudy light amber pour with massive head - aroma of malt and bread - nice toasted malt flavor with a really great hop flavor (now I know why they call them noble hops!)

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper color with full head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of butterscotch, tropical fruit, and toasted malts. Flavors of light pine and caramel. Light bitter finish. A little light overall but definitely a fair summer ale.

Bomber. Pours hazy amber with a small off white head. Just like Ninkasi claims its smooth and malty with a nice hoppy bitter finish. Just the right amount for this easy drinking summer ale. Feelings like it is missing a little something on the nose though.

Tap at Commons Santa Monica. Thanks Dedicatedtofun! Clear orange amber. Medium white foam. Good lacing. Nose is sweet strawberry, orange peel, hints of ruby red grapefruit. Taste is dark chocolate bitter, long rindy bitters. Fresh though with tart ruby red grapefruit. Actually pretty legit.

UPDATED: AUG 24, 2013 On tap @ Malibu Sundowner. Golden orange pour with a white head. Some sweet malt, citrus hops, and grass. Spicy and grapefruit hop notes, light pine, and toffee. Flavors of sweet toffee and bread. Spicy and citrusy hops. Grapefruit, pine, and grass. Light bitterness. A bit sweet, but not bad.
