COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
ReNEWale Extra Special Bitter has smooth caramel malt notes up front and fruity esters contributed by the yeast. Kent Goldings and Northern Brewer Hops add a deep earthy and grassy hop flavor and aroma. Extra special! Extra balanced! Extra tasty!

Thin head on a clear, copper colored body. The aroma is grainy and honey, but quite bold for a lager. The taste has a building bitterness that is balanced with a mild sweetness. The finish is a dry bitterness and a little bready. Low carbonation and medium body. A really enjoyable beer and quite drinkable.

Clear red copper, tan foam fades. Caramel malt aroma. Roasted caramel malt taste, grassy hops, citrus yeastiness. Softly carbed, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Long dirty bitter hop finish. Next. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

From 12 ounce bottle. Copper in color with a pleasing malt character. Light hoppiness and hint of caramel flavor.

Dull gold in color. Thin pale head. Really nice malty, bready nose. A bit over malty attack. Good finish.

On tap at Darby's. abundant caramel and muddy nose, on a copper base. Taste roasty caramel malt, with a long semi-dry finish. Crispy in my mouth.

Extremely faint aroma of brown sugar. Brownish copper color. Metallic hops upfront with a cinnamon/brown sugar backbone. Overall, not a whole lot to say about this. It’s very basic and doesn’t bring much flavor to the table.

Tap. Amber pour with a finger of head. Fruit, biscuit, caramel. Slight bitterness. Not bad

ReNEWale 2013 ESB pours a beautiful copper hue, crystal clear with a lasting off white head. Subtle hops and sweet malts for aroma. Sweet and rich in flavor, finishes incredibly smooth. Almost true to the style just a little too rich for me overall. A great session beer none the less.

Out of the bottle. Pours a dark caramel color with a fine white head. Smell is a little off, but not so much that it detracts from the beer. The taste is sweet with a slight bitter finish. This is a solid beer.

Clear dark bronze in color. Big sudsy tan white head, persist for minute or so. Aromas are sweet and malty, comparable to bread. Flavor has a slight roasted quality. Big hop punch at the end. Very clean hop taste, sounds strange but it made my mouth feel clean for some reason. Some subtle sweetness is there also. Very good beer, enjoyed alot.
