3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 ounce bomber purchased from BevMo in Natomas. Aroma is a bet spicy and peppery with hop notes present. Has some husky malt undertones as well. Not overly aromatic. Mildly hazy dark golden body with a pretty nice and frothy off-yellow head that is strong and leaves good lacing. Starts a little astringent with some spicy and peppery hops coming through. Has some chewy, husky toasted malt notes in the middle before more grassy, somewhat bitter, earthy hop finish. Easy drinking. Pretty good stuff.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber into shaker. Aroma is citrus-forward in a big way. A bit floral, as well. Pours a clear deep gold with a thick head that leaves nice decorative lacework. Taste is very bitter with very little malt sweetness. Carbonation is medium-low. Body is medium. Creamy mouthfeel. Bitterness lingers on the tongue long after the last sip. This is one of the bitterest beers Iíve ever had. Not that thatís a bad thing. Iíd rather have a bitter hoppy beer than a sweet malty one. Good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Opaque amber with some white head. Aroma is biscuity malt and an oily, flowery blend of hops. Flavor is the same, some mild sweetness up front that yields to resinous bitterness and a small amount of citrus. Oily finish.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of the better spring seasonals I have tasted. Pours a vibrant, translucent red with perfect foam, and leaves a beautiful lace on the glass. First impression is unmistakable hop aroma, almost IPA-strength, but taste is smooth and crisp, not too hoppy. A refreshing and relaxing spring beer.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tasted a bomber bottle from Bevmo in San Diego, California. Pours a nice, hazy honey color with a fluffy head that leaves light lacing. Has a very refreshing, lemony aroma, and a light to medium-bodied palate. Taste is good; citrus flavor gives way to an earthiness that is almost coffee-like, and a pleasant, slightly bitter finish. This is a nice, light IPA. Not amazing, but solid and refreshing. I would definitely drink it again.

22oz bottle from BevMo. Pours a mostly clear pale orange color with a nice frothy off white head, good lacing. Nose starts with toasted biscuits followed light grass and faint citrus. Fairly bitter on the palate with some grain and toasted malts.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy amber with a decent beige head and a light toffee aroma. There is a slightly thin pale malt flavor with a piny hop flavor that makes this brew interestingly bitter. Otherwise, a rather average pale ale.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle pours a slightly hazy light yellowish amber with only a skin of a off white film serving as an excuse for a head. Aroma is a sweet papery light malt with some soft vanilla notes. Tastes a surprising lightly toasted flavor, cereal and and odd late bitterness that is not what I would call "Northwest" hops. Papery and leathery. Strange. Not strong enough to be offensive, but curious and a bit out of place. Not exactly dry, but medium bodied and lacking the crispness of a more attenuated APA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Collins. Pours a honey straw color with an off-white head and clings. Aromas of sugar and caramel and toasted malts. Taste is hoppy, though, with sharp citrus and some floral.
