Bottle. Body-very light brown with a thick ring of bubbles and a thin film of bubbles. Nose-light fresh flowers, soap, American barleywine, leather, perfume. Taste-flat hops, hops are upfront, very IPA like, fresh, not sweet, very nice, easy drinker. You like hops? You’ll like this beer.

4/18/09 at Hops & Props, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is sweet malt forward with a light earthy and citrus note. Appearance is hazy gold with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is an even citrus hop and simple sweet malt blend. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, very sessionable and simple, but to it’s benefit.

pours a clear pale orange with a thin white head, and good lacing. smell is of grain, floral, some citrus, and some malt. taste is semi-thick, pine, dandelion, grass, some nuts, hops, and a few malts, ends on the dry side and bitter, becomes more bitter as you drink.

22 oz bomber. Bright amber/orange in colour, good sized off white head. Lots of citic hoppiness in the aroma ,backed by a good malt. Flavour is very lemony /orange hoppiness, bright and breezy, though you can tell the malt backing underneath is strong and consistent. Nice mouthfeel..great hoppy after taste. Very nice, excellent strong pale.

Flavor: The flavors where big with malt and hops this was a heavy beer.
Palate: Dry finish, with a Nice Mouthfeel.
Overall: Big American Pale ale this was a over the top. Not to style but hell it was tasty.

Nose is a wee bit musty, but that yields to floral hops. Malt flavor is gone in a flash, and you’re left with a so-so IPA. Ok, that’s a bit harsh, as the hops have a slight sweetness before giving way to a bitter aftertaste. It’s just not my bag, though I’m sure some people will absolutely love this. To each his own.
