UPDATED: JUL 12, 2011 Aroma is full of hops (I think mostly Cascade) and cereal malt. Hazy yellow with a little bit of orange and a white, finely bubbled head. Nice bitter grassy hop bit right up front that follow all the way through the finish with some grapefruit at the end. Well balanced with the light toasted malt and a little honey sweetness in the finish. Hops are strong but not overpowering or resiny. An excellent warm weather beer with some real character!

Fannntastic for me! Has that toasty, malty salty sunflower palate. The body and flavor remind me of a big west coast Irish red ale. Organic personality. Finish is slightly sweet up front and then ends with bitter dry malty hops. If you can get this donít pass it up. Itís a real treat. Iíve got to get me some more. Awesome!

Had from bottle from BevMo. Seasonal release, first Iíve seen it in stores. Pours copper with good head and good lacing. Aroma is piney hops, malts, citrus, and sugar. Flavor is about the same with the almost perfect balance of hops and malts. I really enjoyed this Pale, maybe because of the increased hops. Just a nice, drinkable, tasty beer.

650 ml bottle. Pours a translucent copper color with a big foamy white head that has great retention and oodles of sticky lacing. The aroma is relatively mild with piney hops and lightly roasted barley malts. The flavor is more of the same with biter hops taking center stage followed by biscuit, toffee, walnuts and then more biter hops. The palate is full and malty with lively carbonation. The finish is long, dry and biter. Overall: One of the more biter APAís, very much enjoyed.

Bomber. Aroma is pine, resinous hops and pineapple. Appearance is a peach golden color with an inch of pillowy white head. Nice lacing patterns around the glass. Taste starts off with toasted malt and orange citrus followed by dry herbal hops, pine, caramel and biscuits. Mouthfeel is dry and a little watery with medium carbonation. It finishes crisp and tangy with a strong bitter aftertaste. Overall flavor is refreshing although quite heavy on the tangy citrus flavors and astringently bitter. Decent spring session beer.

Bottle: Orange color with a white head. The nose is hoppy and fresh, lots of citrus pine notes and a light medicinal or lotiony malt note. The flavor is clean with more bitter hops and dry hops, but that lotiony thing isnít going away and it adds a twang at the end of the finish. Good, but doesnít build on you.

Pours cloudy translucent rish orange with a big frothy beige head that fades leaving peaks. Aroma of malt, citrus rind, pine, herb. Taste is somewhat lemony and piney with lots of malt and a not so bitter finish but it is there mildly. medium thick body, smooth carbonation.

Sampled out of a 22oz bottle. Pours deep light brown. Really cloudy and a decent head on it. A really nice pale ale for the beginning of summer. Really a quality brew. Good hoppiness with light crisp malting. Nice brew.

Carsten brought me this one back from Portland. Hazy orange with low white head. 22 oz bottle. Piney nose and bit of malt. Decent hop/malt balance. A bit tangy/tart. An ok beer.

Hazy amber, thin head. Piney citrus hop smell. Taste is pretty good, but a very tart and strong bitter tastes that almost ruins. Not sweet enough for my liking for a pale ale.
