2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 marctacoma (35) - Fircrest, Washington, USA - APR 8, 2009
Nose is a wee bit musty, but that yields to floral hops. Malt flavor is gone in a flash, and you’re left with a so-so IPA. Ok, that’s a bit harsh, as the hops have a slight sweetness before giving way to a bitter aftertaste.
It’s just not my bag, though I’m sure some people will absolutely love this. To each his own.
