COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seasonal Release Series. Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. Itís a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Like many Ninkasi beers, this is an ale more than a specific style, though we put it in the Northwest Pale category. A light toasted malt flavor is more reminiscent of a British Pale, but the hops are bright and very Northwest. Flavorful and easy to drink!

Bottle from Albertsons. Clear golden pour with small rocky head. Nice malty aroma, more malt than hops, equal parts pils and APA. Dry finish, again favoring the malts.

Couple pints at World of Beer Reston, pours a burnt orange/copper with some rocky, white head. Nose has citrus rind, grist, grass, light pine. Flavor is the same, chewy grains, a little crackery, lemon rind, light grapefruit rind, soap, dried grasses, Dry, bitter finish.

rocky 2 finger head... leaves surprising amounts of lace and has great retention.. the brew is slightly hazy gold. grainy pale malts make up the bulk of the nose.. polished with a bright citric hoppiness... I am enjoying this one... I normally donít care for "blondes". again alot of clean pale malts with touches of biscuit.. nice citrus hoppiness is bigger than most others that Iíve tried in the style.. finish is clean with an interesting and pleasant/yet unexpected "earthy" component.. a little bit of floral hoppiness is also present.. The body is light/medium for the style and carbonation is smooth small bubble.. very inviting. I would compare this with a lite APA with a bigger yet some how dryer pale malt profile.

Pours a slight hazy golden copper color with a medium off white creamy head that left lacing rings around the glass. The aroma is mild but smells of citrus, lightly roasted malts, and pine. The taste is very similar to the aroma but a little lighter and milder than I was expecting. As it warms the pine becomes more pronounced and adds bitterness.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours nearly clear golden with a half-inch off-white head. Aroma of wet dog, grapefruit, grass, slightly floral. Taste is bitter grapefruit pulp, grass, lime. Interesting, but lacks a lot of flavor.

Pours an orange golden color with white head. Citrus, grass, and light malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Light bodied. Finishes with some grass and citrus with a light malt backbone.

Draft at RnH-West. Clear gold-orange with an almost coating lace. Light aroma of some citrus, pale malts, and some grass. Flavor is similar. Light sweet, light bitter. Soft mouthfeel, fairly dry. Pretty solid.

12oz bottle pours with a nearly clear pure gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up a blend of cracker like malts, floral hops and a dash of lime hard candy. The taste begins pretty nice as the malts and sort of cracker like sensation are met by an equal level of hop bitterness that seems floral and a bit spicy and grassy and lime like. The bitter citrus hop character builds to a moderate level to midway and then maintains that into the finish. Pretty nice pale.
