2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amateur Blonde with less than impressive taste. If you want something with a soft body and a fading memory of a beer, this is for you. Not a complete dive, but a good beginning.

8/17/2011: Ninkasi Spring Reign Ale... Aroma: Grassy, cornflakes, weak mandarin orange. Appearance: Golden color; attractive lacing; rapid carbonation; puffy, pale ivory-colored head. Flavor: Toasted malts with some multi-grain breadcrust; white grapefruit peel, resiny hops; finished dry and crisp with a bit of floral hops and bitterness. Palate: Medium-light body, crisp. Overall: Refreshing and pleasing beer with average alcohol (good thing!) that can be easily enjoyed.
1 pint 6 fl. oz. bottle (Alc. 6% By Vol.). Rating #154 for this beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Shared from a big brown bottle into a nonic glass, thanks gregwilsonstl. It poured a clear, light golden colour with substantial white foam, very long-lasting with lace. Strong hoppy aromas, some grains and freshly-cut grass underneath. A crisp, almost neutral malt flavour with strong bitterness balanced against it, resiny and citrusy hop flavours. American profile for sure, but not overwhelmingly grapefruity. It reminded me of Bells Third Coast Beer.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Smells hoppy/floral as can be. Thick amber color and small bubbly head. Tastes a bit tart at first then almost an skunky bitter aftertaste. It’s good but that aftertaste is not for me.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is quite foresty – pine trees, and a little bit of roasted malt. Pours a golden clear colour with a thick white head with significant lacing. Taste is very bitter, bordering on too bitter even for a pale ale. Feels thin on the pallet with lively carbonation, and a somewhat astringent, bitter finish.
