Seasonal Release Series. Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Like many Ninkasi beers, this is an ale more than a specific style, though we put it in the Northwest Pale category. A light toasted malt flavor is more reminiscent of a British Pale, but the hops are bright and very Northwest. Flavorful and easy to drink!

Clear amber pour with a nuce whute head and great lacing. Aroma is very floral with some sweet citrus and toast. Taste is cracker, citrus rind, perfume and pine. Bitterness is a little harsh on the back end. Medium light body.

12oz bottle pours with a nearly clear pure gold body that supports a near white head. The aroma offers up a blend of cracker like malts, floral hops and a dash of lime hard candy. The taste begins pretty nice as the malts and sort of cracker like sensation are met by an equal level of hop bitterness that seems floral and a bit spicy and grassy and lime like. The bitter citrus hop character builds to a moderate level to midway and then maintains that into the finish. Pretty nice pale.

Bottle: Clear, light golden hue, thick head and great lace. A little musty. Green hop lift. It a little to dank for me. Dry palate, not sour but massively bitter for the weight. Not a balanced beer at all. More like an IPA than a Pale Ale. High CO2 on the palate. Just a hard drink. I want to see richer malt and more aromatic and cleaner hops.

Bottle. Bright and young-looking, medium orange, soft head. Medium creamy citrus is the predominate character. Frothy. (#5991, 6/21/2015)

Sweet lemon brilliance. Abrupt crisp bitterness. Ok beer. Missing some aroma and flavor.

Bottle into IPA glass. Pours a deep golden colour with a finger of white head. Aroma is floral hops with a little toasted malt. Taste is about the same. Really nice beer.

Pours a clear gold with a foamy white head and lacing. The aroma has some grass and pine notes with a similar flavor that leads to a slightly sweet finish over a medium body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The Sampler, Brooklyn bottle: pours gold witha white head. Aroma is pine and some fruitiness. Taste is lightly bitter. Easy drinking. Pretty standard. Bitter aftertaste. Not blown away.

Served on tap at Linda's. Yellow gold color. Mostly clear. Light hippy aroma but not much there. Carbonated medium light body with a fizzy ending. Mild mix of hops and citrus with a weak hops ending. Nothing special. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (22oz $5): Golden with 2 finger white soapy head. Toasted malts was the first thing I tasted. Bitterness in the end was more than expected. Piney.
