COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Gold, clear, white head. Grainy malt, a little toast, spicy and citrusy hops. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Unclear light amber orange, nice frothy off-white head slowly settles into a lasting creamy cap leaving some bridal veil lacing. Fresh citrus hoppy aroma. Bitter resinous citrus hop up front, lightly toasted malts behind, some evergreen and grapefruit tartness. Soft carbonation, medium bodied, medium hopped. Softens and sweetens into the finish. Ninkasi continues to impress. NFL ( Not For Lagerboys) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pouring a slightly hazy bright gold-orange that seems to reflect the flavor to follow, this hoppy pale is bright and crisp, as advertised. Aromatic citrusy hops on the nose is the predominant flavor element, with a malt backbone that balances a definite bitterness that continues fairly far into the finish, except for the very end, which delightfully, enticingly turns faintly sweet before exiting the palate. More biting bitterness than ideal is this brew’s main flaw; the uncomplicated yet clean aromatic citrus hop character is really nice. I do find it a little hilarious that this is marketed as a session ale. Are we witnessing the inflation of ABV on multiple fronts?

Aroma: melon and citrus. Appearance: Dark gold with thin white head. Flavor: Yeasty bread with a huge hop bitterness. Palate: light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Overall: A bit out of balance. More aroma hops and less bittering hops would be an improvement.

Six pack of 12 oz. bottles from grocery. Golden pour with just topping white foamy head. No carbonation. Some floral and grass aroma, a touch of citrus. Ahhh, some bitter but more of a astringent aftertaste. Pine and malts pushing some flavors? I could see this on a sunny spring day (not what I had today in the PacNW,,,)

Pours amber with a white head. Citrus, lemon, pine. Starts off great but didn't really like the finish. Kind of reminded me of a lager. Good mouthfeel. Average pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Un couleur ambrée avec une petite mousse beige/blanche. Le goût a un peu de malt suivi par d’houblon. Pas trop remarquable.

Floral hops are strong in the nose. Slightly hazy golden-copper body is topped by a generous, fine bubbled, white head that lasts throughout and coats the glass with lace. Deliciously malty toasty flavour with a nice complement of floral and spicy hops and fairly pronounced bitterness in the backend. Medium body with wonderful fine bubbled effervescence. Enjoyed on tap at Portland Craft.

Poured from bomber, the last of that 22oz four pack that is out right now. Clear, medium gold in color with a small off white head. Nose was mild, hints of grass and citrus, but not predominant. Taste was on the biiter side. Not too bad, but after trying all four, there appears to be a "Ninkasi" profile emerging, which could be a good thing, similar to my experience with Lagunitas.

10oz. Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver. Slightly muddled golden yellow pour, with modest white head. Nose is fresh and floral (daffodils!).  A very understated, but tasty and balanced ale. Malty start, with a very light sour transition to a bitter finish. Very good and sessionable.
