Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Smells hoppy/floral as can be. Thick amber color and small bubbly head. Tastes a bit tart at first then almost an skunky bitter aftertaste. It’s good but that aftertaste is not for me.

Aroma is quite foresty – pine trees, and a little bit of roasted malt. Pours a golden clear colour with a thick white head with significant lacing. Taste is very bitter, bordering on too bitter even for a pale ale. Feels thin on the pallet with lively carbonation, and a somewhat astringent, bitter finish.

Sampled at esbls. Clear dark golden. A blotchy head. A grassy aroma and flavor. Floral. Pale malts. Some mild bitterness.

Floraly citrusy hop aroma up front with a hint of malt in a hazy pale orange brew with a nice white head. A nice carbonation makes for a buttery mouthfeel. A medium body with a very sharp flavor...almost like orange peel. Bitter. Kind of a tin taste as well. A bit bitter for my taste. No malt to balance or offset.

Pours a clear gold with a medium white head. Not much aroma, but sweet malts, crisp, thick mouthfeel, nice bitter aftertaste. Nice spring ale - almost a spring bock.

I wish I could have tried this beer when it was fresh. Tasted mostly like malts when I got to it (late may). ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber thanks to Mike. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. A fruity nose with some pepper. Pretty smooth, clean flavors, pepper, floral hops, light biscuit. Honey. Nice.

Gold, clear, white head. Grainy malt, a little toast, spicy and citrusy hops. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Unclear light amber orange, nice frothy off-white head slowly settles into a lasting creamy cap leaving some bridal veil lacing. Fresh citrus hoppy aroma. Bitter resinous citrus hop up front, lightly toasted malts behind, some evergreen and grapefruit tartness. Soft carbonation, medium bodied, medium hopped. Softens and sweetens into the finish. Ninkasi continues to impress. NFL ( Not For Lagerboys) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pouring a slightly hazy bright gold-orange that seems to reflect the flavor to follow, this hoppy pale is bright and crisp, as advertised. Aromatic citrusy hops on the nose is the predominant flavor element, with a malt backbone that balances a definite bitterness that continues fairly far into the finish, except for the very end, which delightfully, enticingly turns faintly sweet before exiting the palate. More biting bitterness than ideal is this brew’s main flaw; the uncomplicated yet clean aromatic citrus hop character is really nice. I do find it a little hilarious that this is marketed as a session ale. Are we witnessing the inflation of ABV on multiple fronts?
