COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

Lightly clouded orange hue, delicate but enduring head formation. Herbal, hoppy aroma, a little mint, mild caramel malt. Some caramel but very light on the malt, fair amount of hop citrus in the finish makes this more of a refresher than a serious pale ale. At least it drinks well while there’s a nice touch of orange in the aftertaste.

Poured from the bomber into a glass. Seemed fitting as we have been having a really wet spring. Pours a light amber color, amd pretty clear. Decent head with lacing. Aroma is grassy and earthy. Flavour is also earthy. Mouthfeel is watery, definitely thin and finishes bitter. Overall this is not the best impression of ninkasi, hopefully their other stuff is better.

Tap: cloudy copper color with a tan head. Fresh hop aroma with a pretty earthy, malty taste. Smooth finish.

22 oz. bottle from curly- thanks, Jason! Pours a somewhat cloudy bright golden orange color with an inch-thick, rocky off-white head that leaves some lace in the Duvel tulip. Aroma of dry grains, toasted malts, fresh cut grass, toasted sugars, straw, and herbs. Flavor of grassy and floral hops, pale and sweet malts, faint soap, and limestone. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry, mineral mouthfeel. A little mouth-coating bitterness as well. Decent APA.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours pale golden. Aroma of floral hops. Flavour of citrus, floral hops, with a sort of soapy quality. Pretty standard APA.

The Spring Reign ale is an interesting flavorful beer. Its aroma can be characterized as floral and hoppy. It looks golden yellow and unfiltered, as well as pouring a light head. First taste resonates a floral flavor followed by a medium bitter sweet hoppy malt finish. The body of this beer is medium with a long astringent finish.

Was expecting something different because of the spring. But was slightly hoppy. Not much after taste.

22oz bottle thanks to Scrizzz. Pours golden color with a white head. Nose is citrus, light hops and malty nose. Taste starts out bitter followed by a bit of malts and then the bitter finish kicks in. Get a bit of earth in there as well. Nice easy drinking beer.

12oz bottle from HuskyinPDX. Pours almost completely clear amber with a thick but small head that recedes to a collar pretty quickly. The aroma is like a nice crispy piece of toast with some light earthy hops, pretty grassy actually. Like the aroma, the taste strikes me as very toasted. Crisp floral hops that remind me of a freshly mowed lawn. Almost gets a little too earthy as the finish has a really grainy character. Mouthfeel is crisp and light with good carbonation and a dry bitterness after each sip. The overly toasted malt character detracts a bit from the overall package for me but it’s a nice drinkable bland with a healthy grassy hop profile.

Aroma - light hops Appearance - cloudy golden, big head that fades Taste - typical pale ale, slightly bitter Palate - medium body Overall - not super hoppy but not super smooth either. A solid lighter summer beer
