Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. It’s a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

I had this back in the early spring. I’m not sure why I didn’t rate it. Like almost ever single beer Ninkasi makes, there is a lot of hop flavor. Very original {sarcasm}.

Clear, dark golden color, with medium head. Refreshing, hoppy aroma. Fruity, citrus, slightly acidic flavor. Some bitterness & astringency. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Very refreshing & tasty overall.

Sweet floral nose with glistening and creamy white head. Hazy amber. Med body clean resiney hop finish. Decent american pale.

My first Ninkasi, and certainly off to a good start. American Pale Ale seems like a strange choice for a seasonal. Pine hops and malts make for a delightfully fresh ale. Recommended.

650 ml bottle from Central City. Pours a copper/amber with light head, nice lacing and lots of carbonation. Aromas of hops and malts. Not overly hoppy. Toasted malt flavor with a bit of citrusy hops and bitter finish, but overall well balanced. Easy to drink - definitely a session beer to share.

Pours a darker golden color with a fine foam. Smell is pretty nonexistent. Taste is excessively malty. I expected more from this beer.

Out of a bottle into a pint glass. Golden pour to light amber once in the glass. A nice half finger of head formed and held. Wow, honeysuckle, lime and grapefruit in the background. An excellent fragrance. Lots going on in this drink. Soft texture and honey at first, moving to lots of carbonation and a hop kick and ending with a touch of honey again. The first drink was surprising, but after a couple it is nice. It tends towards an IPA with the amount of hops coming through. It is probably on the edge of its style but that only makes me like it a little more. A little confused with the abrupt changes from honey to hops and back again... but definitely worth a sixer.

Bottle. Light orange with a frothy off white head. Bitter citrus aroma. Initial flavors of toasted malt quickly give way to a grassy hop finish with a lingering bitter aftertaste Dry texture with average carbonation. A little heavy for a ’refreshing’ Spring seasonal but not bad.
