Spring forward with this refreshing seasonal ale. Notes of toasted malt up front with a bright and crisp Northwest hop finish. Itís a session beer that everyone can enjoy.

On tap at Henryís. Orange with a thin white head. Sharp citrus, very crisp hop nose. Big grapefruit character, slightly pithy and lots of bitterness. Fruity and overhopped pale, unbalanced, but still refreshing.

From a 22 ounce bottle. Slightly hazed amber with one finger of off white head. (gentle pour) Good amount of lacings. Aroma is floral hops. Taste is citrus grapefruit orange hops and strong support from the sweet malts. Tasted like a nice West Coast Pale Ale to my palate. Easy drinker, very smooth. Medium dry finish. Very fine spring beer. I believe this beer was quite fresh and it is the first time I have seen it on the shelves in the Portland area.

4/18/09 at Hops & Props, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is sweet malt forward with a light earthy and citrus note. Appearance is hazy gold with a medium maintained white head. Flavor is an even citrus hop and simple sweet malt blend. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a low carb texture. Overall, very sessionable and simple, but to itís benefit.

Bottle thanks to Blutt59. Pours a gold/amber with white head. Aroma has a great hoppiness to it, nice pine. Flavor is full of hops up front, some malt, great bitter. Mouth feel is medium body with low-medium carbonation. Overall, pretty good stuff!

22 oz bottles and several times on tap. Definitely better on tap than it is out of the bottle. Deep golden color with a solid white head. Aroma is very floral with some hints of citrus and a light grainy bit at the end. Flavor is very floral and citrus with a little bit of a malt backdrop. Pretty hop forward for the style, but thatís how I like my beers.

Bomber. Pours hazy dark gold with a thin but lacy paly yellow head. Aroma of tropical fruit, caramel, citrus and grass. Creamy medium body, medium carbonation. Taste of pine, toast and caramel with an earthy dry finish.

very nice, crisp beer. Ninkasi rarely makes a stinker and this one is no dud. Had from 22 oz bottle.

From a 22 oz bottle this poured a slightly hazy orange to gold with a foamy white head and very robust lacing rings. Big nose of citrus and pine hops. Medium mouthfeel with distinct carbonation. Flavor is caramel malts and bitterness from the hops, and the finish is lightly bitter. A very drinkable and enjoyable APA.

Draft at Stanfordís @ PBX. A nice yellow color with white head. Very dry and crisp. A roasted malt flavor that doesnít interfere with the lightness of the beer. A delicatly bitter finish.
